What? Thats not the stacking bug...
The stacking bug is when you kill lots of undead and evil hunter lasts for ever, the bug doesn't increase its proc rate or its damage.

What happens is the player will get multiple Hunter Buffs all active at once. They will all trigger at once and instantly kill enemies.
They don't, they just get more evil hunter time.

The time, damage, and procs all stack. We know this, it has been reported, ZOS knows it, this exploit's days are numbered.
No, it does NOT stack(or at least not just by killing undead), i just killed 2 groups of undead inside a dungeon and still didn't notice any difference in the damage or in the proc rate.
IF he is REALLY exploiting, its not by killing undead and stacking its duration.

Not sure why I'd have 8 Hunter icons on my character screen and I could one shot bosses in a public group dungeon, then. Cause I stumbled on that last night, which is why I mentioned it.

Matter of fact, let's just go ahead and get some ZOS officials in on this thread in order to help speed up the process of fixing this exploit.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_GaryA

    This I can agree with.

I am firmly against banning ppl for "exploiting".

It's a fumble and when someone fumbles, you run it back for the win. What you don't do is stop the game and let the team re-set.

its not a fumble, its cheating. plain and simple.

^ This. And no, OP, Camouflaged Hunter has not been fixed on PC and it is still bugged. Knowingly using a bugged skill, or combination of bugged skills, is exploiting and you should be banned.
Yes, because it's players who take the responsibility for the skills being bugged as much as you can prove someone is using it "knowingly" or not. Now give me this darn "LOL" button again.

Unless ZoS specifically said it's exploiting, just go ahead and abuse and PvP with cheese.

Hundreds of skills and sets have been bugged/not working as indented since launch. Mainly doing to much dmg + proc'ing more than indented. People have always taken massive advantage of these things for easy kills in PvP or better dps in PvE. Caltrops + Camo Hunter definitely falls into that category.

It's actually pretty sad, because exploitable skills in ESO is pretty much the same as our ongoing "meta". You cant even argue that it's exploiting, because devs wont comment on the matter or confirm what we already know. They say nothing, take no actions, than just patch the broken skill or armor set after a few weeks or months.

Only thing, on the top of my head, they spoken out against is terrain exploits and getting into closed keeps. Like using Ambush or Dragon Leap on a player to get inside enemy objectives not yet open. They really dont want you doing that.

Having played many online games in my time and a few different MMOs...And having read every post in this thread...That crap sounds like an exploit. If that is not then what the crap are the devs doing? If it is then I hope those who are using it and those who are telling people to use it get banned.

Making the excuse that "Plenty of other things are broken" is not a valid reason for doing something that exploits the games mechanics. That is a failed and flawed argument.

It's broken and it needs to be fixed RFN.

There's lots of stuff that's broken and needs to be fixed RFN.

Coldharbor siege, mist form mitigation, eclipse health desync, multiple snipe stack, ambushing through doors, list is pretty long actually and exploits play a role in about 50% of my deaths in pvp.

The camo hunter stacking bug just appeared in console meta, I believe it's a side effect of trying to fix the stacking duration which seems to be gone now. It's completely game-breaking and needs to end. Players shouldn't be using it in pvp, I refuse to use any of these things in pvp, but that said it isn't the playerbase that's responsible for fixing broken mechanics.

This stuff can't wait another two months for IC to drop ZOS.

The way I see it, no one should ever be reported for using game mechanics, broken or not.

No one should be penalized for work that isn't done.

If the parking sign in a particular spot is missing, just a pole with no sign and nothing on the ground, should you be penalized for parking there or should they fix the sign?

I agree. Every single player can replicate this setup. I've already seen player's from E.P and A.D doing the same.

Why dosen't Zos hotfix this right away? They are probably to caught up trying to fix blue screen's and many other bug's.

. Every single player can replicate this setup.
And what fun would that be if everyone cheesed the game like that? You're just trying to justify doing lame things in a game because the devs haven't fixed it as if you're a toddler running amok without parental supervision telling you it's wrong.
