I loved the old one for fire staves, much more dramatic. Many changes in many MMOs make things worse instead of better, sadly. This is because either development listens to the wrong people (nerf whiners), or doesn't listen to anyone at all, and just makes sweeping changes without any insight, since few teams ever play their own game. The only way to understand a game is to play it, just writing the code for it offers no insight in the effects of changes to actual gameplay.
