On consoles for crafters please add 'Learned' next to a trait if you've already researched the trait

This would save me so much time crafting (as I'm a Blacksmith and a Clothier). I spend way too much time trying to figure out if I should dismantle an item or not because I'm not sure I've researched the trait yet.

Please.. this would be ever so helpful.

Agreed! But this feature was only ever available on PC via an add-on, so I don't know whether they will ever come up with something similar for consoles.

However, here's hoping, as this would be a much-welcomed feature!

EDIT: Tallowby has created a great matrix (Excel spreadsheet) that assists in tracking crafting research as well as a host of other things crafting related. I'll try to link it here:

Until, if?, they do this, then use this spread sheet to keep track of your research

Roll an Alt character to keep your researchables on. If they are in the bank, they can be accidentally deconned. Yes, I have done this on the PC until used the Spreadsheet/Alt method. I avoided the addons that helped with this during the height of my research as they changed just about every week and some had some errors. So, ironically, it was not until deep into the 5th and 6th traits that I started using an addon, and by that time, it was not needed. I was buying what I needed to research at that point, not keeping them in inventory.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Ha! Just edited my post and then discovered that you had also responded with a link to another spreadsheet. :p

Agree wholeheartedly! Especially since I have multiple alts and can't remember what I've researched on all of them. I always find myself hesitant to hit "Deconstruct"; I have to go back and forth to "Research" to verify what traits I already have on each item on any one alt. The "Already Know/Learned This" feature exists with recipes and motifs, so why not traits? I cannot stress enough how helpful it would be to have this implemented. I sincerely hope the Devs see this thread, among other great suggestions to enhance the ESO experience.

Simple break down everything and when time come go to people shops and get the item you need.

@CidxLucy Well, there's always that, true. But I'd hate to dismantle a trait only to discover I hadn't researched it yet, and then be forced to spend precious money to reacquire it from another player. I'd rather have my gold be spent on other items I need/want than on items I foolishly discarded.
