Im fine with paying for dlc as long as its new content... That is why i boycotted destiny when i found out their so called expansion packs were already done and ready to be shipped with the game but were just disc locked.....

I can see why people would be complaining, but its DLC or have a Sub which is actually pretty cool....you also earn benefits from being subbed (xp, gold, and monthly crowns come to mind). $20 is nothing. I was honestly expecting the DLC to cost more, so this is a pleasant surprise. Anyone who loves the game will just be happy there's new toys for us to play with

They can't want too much money because I only ended up getting the 6 month subby rewards before I parked ESO to wait on the console. When I came back and realized there was a freaking mount to which I stupidly resub the PC account for thinking another sub would meet the 6 months as I already had 6 and I could get he Mount.

It was denied, I cried especially when I read the sub doesn't transfer to PS4 ... WHY ESO ... WHHHYYYYYYYYY

Makes me regret pre-ordering the game in the first place. If I waited a year I could have saved enough for a decent bender.

If the theater sells a season pass for $300.00 and promises a new movie every four weeks, cool, I'll pay for that.
Now, after a year, they still show the same movie. They say ones comes Soon™ though, and it's gonna be awesome.

If you sub for 2 months, you get to try it for 2 months, plus you have 3000 crowns which can buy it permanently. I don't see how they have made this too expensive at all. Their model is clever, because I am sitting on 3400 crowns but might sub for a month to find out if I like it, and then buy it using only 500 of my crown stash.
I think if the PC players who subscribed before b2p had been given slightly more crowns, such as 200 per month subscribed, this wouldn't be an issue, as a year's worth of sub would have given the crowns to buy this: effectively delivering the promised dlc late, but essentially free to the people who subbed during the time they should have gotten it.

they have to, actually they pay more [as they do not have permanent access to it if their sub ends - so they have to spend the crowns granted by the sub to purchase it additionally wich is in a by far wors cash/crown ratio] than someone buying the needed crowns directly especially when you have currency change values in mind - the russian rubel is quite week currently...

You sub to play the game that is available at that time. You can say that they "promised" Imperial City a year ago but I never heard or read the word promise in anything they have done. Simply put, you are mad because you have to either sub to get the content or pay for the dlc. Your prior sub money was to pay for the right to play the game at that time for a specified period of time. You did not pre-pay for any content. That is not how it works.

We kept paying, on the basis that new content was going to be released. Fall came, we got Craglorn. That was it.
I. C. Was pushed back..... *** it, if I have to explain it you won't get it. Have fun with your dlc and all the other stuff coming soon™. Maybe once spell crafting is in game along with the rest of thier incomplete game, I'll buy dlc. But not untill they can prove it's worth it. After all this time, their dlc had better be perfectly bug free. Bet you it's not.

It was to be expected though I do understand some what the disappointment of those that waited for so long for this content to arrive. Expecially since at the time they were paying for not only the privilage of playing the then current game but for new content which was supposed to arrive on a very regular basis. Other then Craglorn which was a group only thing pretty much no new content arrived. Last year they were talking about IC and clockwork city and Orsinium and Murkwater being forth coming soon. They also spoke of the spell crafting and the justice system. So I do understand being disappointed this carrot was dangled for quite some time.

I am not going to say what I feel about the situation itself just that it seems a little expensive considering the long wait. The area is not all that large nor does it have the content that would really encourage a mostly pve person to buy it. Further with the addition of more vr levels soonish this content being first does not really seem to be all that ideal. It gives nothing new to do as far as the pve person is concerned really. Further the idea that because some will pay for a 30$ for an exclusive mount that 20$ or so for actual content is just peachy is kinda dumb. Have paid for expansions that had far more content as in hundreds of quests for less.

I know I will not every other month or three shell out 20$ or more for this little in content. I know there is no more sub I get it that they need to make money. Just feel that more people will buy content then will buy ice horses. Therefore there is no need for it to be as expensive as 20$. I know that they will do what they are going to do however.

No one wants all their negativity, especially when you have a huge influx of new players who are enjoying the game and are generally hopeful about the directions of things. when you have been tricked and cheated on all the time to pay a sub for 13 months with only craglorn as an expension wich you guys on those fu... consoles got for FREE!!! , when the next expension that was announced duriing BETA in march 2014 as stuff not ready to be at the release but soon after, just to be charged 18 months later again for it - you would be pissed too...
