So how do i report a scammer if he ran away before i could report him with the in game wheel? Where do i go? Can i contact someone at ZOS? I mean, i've got video proof and all but how do i do it?
Absolutely. Please do not report them here on the forums as it violates our rules on naming and shaming.
We recommend reporting them to our customer support team, including as much information as you possibly can. Please try to include:
The scammer's gamertag
The approximate time that the transaction occurred
The exact amount of gold that was traded
The character on which the trade occurred
I've got an answer from the customer support when i made a report in-game, but they immediately put the issue as resolved and didn't ask any more questions. I mean, it's great that they answered fast, but having a look at the video clip would answer all those questions and give proof to my allegations. Should i open another ticket through the link you gave me, or just deal with the already open case? It seems to be the same address, so i guess i should just see what the CST will say.

Please be sure to keep all communication regarding reports of scammers and those who violate terms of service within the support ticket. Please be aware that you will not receive a response on any action that the team may take regarding the reported player.

I'll do that. It's just that it kind of worries me that you guys don't ask for proof or anything other than saying you'll investigate it. It feels like on one hand you're saying you're investigating to calm me, but on the other you'll say "we don't have proof of this players actions hence we will not take further measures" without even asking if i've got some proof. I've got video and exchanged messages, and i'm just waiting for CS to ask for it, or tell me were to send it. But then they just say "we're checking it" and mark the issue as resolved. And the PS4 is constantly recording, so it's kind of hard to assumer there ISN'T video evidence.
I mean, it just feels like you're setting yourselves up to not do anything unless ALOT of other players report the same guy for the same reason. It's kind of weird to me.
Anyways, thanks again. I'll see what customer support says as i,ve brought this same issue with them.
