If it's possible for you, join the PTS and make sure you're leaving your POV as /feedback. They will test different access modes there and then decide.

    Translation:
During the PTS phase we will test different Imperial City access systems, but all are independent from the current Emperor's fraction. The possible options are:
    • free access for all
    • access if own fraction controls 6 of its own keeps
    • access if own fraction controls 6 of its own keeps and one enemy keep
    • access if own fraction controls majority of all keeps

I reserve the right to change my vote IF they end up deciding not to allow access to everyone. As someone who only PvE's, it is outrageous IMO to ask people to pay for content that has limited access and only through means that they don't play- as in PvP. If they are adding PvE content, then they should allow access to players who don't PvP.

Think about how this is going to affect PvPers. They have a limited number of Campaigns to play in. Only so many of them from each faction can enter per Campaign at a time. When PvEers begin to flood a PvP Centered Zone to access a High Level PvP/PvE Zone. Those large scale battles taking place in Cyrodiil itself will suffer. All because anyone in the Imperial City will count towards the number of people allowed in the Cyrodiil region.

25 would be really fair. I was expecting 50-75.

Really? More than the cost of a normal full expansion, for a single-zone DLC?

Considering the cost of other crown store items, 25 is not that bad. Particularly for anyone that has been smart enough to save up any accrued crowns from being a former subscriber.

So if they charged $100 for a horse, and $90 for a zone of DLC, that makes it a good deal because it's priced less than a horse?

Nope, but going back to reality, I am okay with 25 for lifetime access to Imperial City

Misleading, at best. You buy 5500 crowns for $40. That means 137.5 crowns cost $1. The 2500 crown cost for the Imperial City, therefore, amounts to $18.18, or eighteen dollars and eighteen cents, not $25 like the topic title claims. Given that many games charge full-price ($40-60) amounts for expansion packs in the MMO genre, $18.18 for what probably amounts to more than half of what those expansions typically provide, while not having to pay a 15-buck fee every month just to play, is a VERY good value :D.

I's pay that much for combined DLC including DarkBrotherhood and Thieves guild quest lines with new skill sets (new traps added to dungeons, etc., with trap detection/disarming, etc). Poison crafting, etc. New passives. Could be played for or against the theives or DB.

Ability to place DB "contracts" on players, and redeem contracts on players and daily randomly generated NPCs. Daily "theft" missions with high value items.

I'd pay $25 for that. Imperial City? Meh.

I expected it to be much more expensive TBH, in the light of how expensive some items in the crown store are.

As it is, i basically get it for free, since i did not spend any of the crowns i got when TU launched(4700 or so).

Title isn't misleading nor did I intend it to be. I don't believe you can buy 137.5 crowns for just $1. Nor pay only $18.18 for the crowns necessary to purchase the DLC. At the moment if one wanted to buy the stand alone DLC you would have to pay for 3000 Crowns which costs $24.99.

In fact one could argue that using "Crowns" to purchase DLC in of itself is very misleading. And of course it is, that's why they have it in the first place. It's why game company's use their own currency, to mislead customers on the actual price of their product. It's why Microsoft no longer uses Microsoft points because people were getting tired of the misleading pricing that went along with it. And why their "pricing" never seems to fall in line with any of the actual "currency" bundles they sell

This should be free to PC players who subbed until the announcement of B2P or the release of TU. The only reason why so many of us remained subbed to a stagnant game was the carrots they waved on stick at E3 and Quakecon 2014. The fact is that this content was promised to us over a year prior to now and we did not receive it within the original timeframes should make it free for all those players, as a "thank you" for beta testing what was in my opinion a half-finished, unpolished piece of software.

Many of us feel cheated but for myself I do not think I will trust the developers of this game again. And trust is something a business can lose only so many times before they start seeing the impact on the bottom line. I had high hopes for this game, but think more money and effort has been spent on creating media hype than delivering a product that is on schedule, within its original scope, and of a quality so that the product feels polished and has no serious flaws. Perhaps in a few years time I will feel different but for now I am not going to spend any more money on this product; I feel I've spent too much money already for what I've received.

At university in one of my business subjects we learnt that in order to be successful and ensure a good business relationship, it is prudent for big enterprises to provide a certain amount of "goodwill" to their customers. Whether it be something free that they give, or double-your-money back for an defective product or perhaps a special thank-you gift for longstanding and loyal customers, most companies sometimes have to make sacrifices on the bottom line to ensure that the relationship with their customers remains strong, otherwise they might go to their competitors who do. Giving this DLC for free to those players or offering them a significant discount would go a long way into creating trust where previously it was destroyed.

As many of the founding players have moved on to other games due to feeling burnt out with what was on offer for a long time, this would be an excellent move to get them back into the game and perhaps more upbeat about what the future holds for it. As it stands now I get the feeling that many players are bitter about the way things have turned out. It is up to ZOS to turn that feeling around.

Considering I paid 15 a month for 6ish months and got nothing, I think 25 is okay to actually get content. I was expecting 15-25, so it hits the high end of my expectations. The best part, I can choose to purchase this if I feel its worth it or not. Or save up if I dont have the cash.

Fair. Couple months of subscription and you get the dlc during that time and can buy it with the crowns later. Much happier with the pricing of this than the GW2 "expansion" price considering this looks to have roughly the same amount of content.

Considering that they introduce a type of corpse looting in the game and access to the dungeons is dependent on the state of the campaign anything other than them giving me money to deal with that kind of BS is overpriced.
The only way I will consider to buy it now is if they confirm that I can go into the PVE Dungeons at any time just like normal dungeons.

That said I wouldn't have a problem paying $10-$15 for vet versions of the dungeons. I m just not interested in paying for ZOS inconvenient BS.
