Should ZOS add motif/style modification to crafting stations for dropped sets?

Suggestion: We have the ability to craft any style we have a motif for, however, if we want the dropped set pieces, we can't get them in the styles we want (as far as I know).
I would like to be able to either right click and choose "convert to style" or, preferably, to visit a clothing/blacksmithing/woodworking station and pick from a list of styles based off motifs we know.

Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -
Blackhorne✭✭✭✭I think the dropped sets should have and maintain a set style -- it adds to the uniqueness of the set. But that's my personal feeling; I can see it going either way.
Still, if they do allow a convert style option, I think it should come with similar costs and risks as upgrading quality -- it's essentially a deconstruction/reconstruction, so it should take time, materials, and should potentially fail.1 -

It's no different than using a costume or picking a certain style when you craft - it's choosing to let our character look how we want. That's all. I agree with the part where it should have the chance to fail. Because if it's part of crafting and needing to have the motif, it just makes sense. I assume it should use the upgrade items.>.<_____/

I meant that as a serious question. If I buy a parka, can I reasonably take it to a seamstress and have it re-done "asian" style?

The game takes place in a fictional environment, with fictional races, and the armor or "clothing" since you want to be logical contains something called "stats" that increases your "stamina" or "magicka" or "health".

Since this is an MMO there would be no game after a while because it thrives on repetitious content you would beat it and be done.I didn't choose tank life, tank life chose me.0 -

I am not asking for dropped sets to be craftable at all, I am asking for them to have optional appearance changes. I agree, it shouldn't be craftable because then it isn't a dropped set >.>>.<_____/

And again, I say where is the logic? I get that there is "magic" and it has a certain amount of internal consistancy. I get that there are motifs, and even specific materials needed to get specific looks.
I could possibly see some sort of transformation spell for clothing - if there were other transformation spells in this world - which there are not.

I sell a ton of dropped sets. The only ones we have trouble selling are the ones that we have 73726274637273 pieces of. Something knight pieces I think? I sell everything else easily and buy up a lot myself for my alts while leveling or craft sometimes too.
Perhaps it depends what megaserver you're on or the prices or where your guild trader is? I am in 4 trade guilds 3 of which are setup in the most used locations. Check your prices and make sure the trade guild you're in uses the best area it can afford. Don't be afraid to find a better one because the point of it is to make you gold.>.<_____/
