People won't stop using a known cause of lag cause it is effective for various reasons , personally haven't got kicked by meteor lag since I adjusted something but bleh shouldn't have to do stuff like that to pervent lag.

DC has had some pretty close calls, hell, we were leading on the final Thornblade before everyone jumped ship.
I remember LoM, HoD, and NPK quit playing during US prime, while we were in the lead due to the lag. To be fair, watching a keep get sieged down, and then EP pick up the scroll due to damage not registering, and waltz right out, is pretty dumb, but hey, I can't fault them for getting pissed off for that happening, because I too got pissed off. This is the first real campaign since then where all the big DC guild have been together since that campaign AFAIK.It's gone passed the point balancing, it is now a bandwagon. Many times in the last couple weeks I've logged on to see DC poplocked with EP at 2 bars. Gotta love getting zerged by people you used to consider friends. But hey we don't need any fair-weathers, if all they care about is winning, good riddance.
No one who is V14 now joined DC when it was the winning faction, DC winning is a very, very recent phenomenon.
You may not like getting beaten by people who used to play on your side, but that's no reason to call them bandwagonners and accuse them of rerolling to join the winning side.
Also, this is exactly how AD felt when DiE went EP, and suddenly EP was always poplocked and zerging us down. It's weird, because in both cases, only one guild switched, which really shouldn't be enough to change population bars so dramatically across the board, but somehow, it has seemed to...
We've got 3 or so bigger guilds that have rerolled from EP. Not to mention there are other players rerolling.
I have no issues with individual players rerolling because they have a hard time finding PVP in their timezone or their guild has fallen apart, and while the effort for 20-50 people to reroll is commendable, it does really throw things wildly in our favour. When you go from fighting 4:1 odds regularly to 1:4 because wherever a fight happens DC comes flooding, you know something is amiss. It's gone passed the point balancing, it is now a bandwagon. I would agree and highlight this.
It has gone from a few players and PvPers who have come across - which is great, DC really needed it - but it's since progressed to whole guilds. I mean, we don't really need or want SOTP, or PR (you are a great source of easy AP, please stay on EP)As someone that's played DC and only DC since launch, it'd be nice if players with your mindset would just leave the game (again). DC's organization and leadership has been atrocious over the last few months, and you certainly contributed nothing while being offline. As someone that's supposed to be a big presence in one of the better DC pvp guilds, are you jealous that non DC players are doing a better job of this than you?
I've run with almost all of the major and most of the smaller DC pvp guilds, and have yet to see the level of organization and coordination that I see with our red transplants. The fact that a guild would re-roll from scratch to play on another alliance should say everything - name one DC guild that's as close-knit and dedicated to pvp that would be able to pull that off without all of their members saying peace out.
You should be coordinating with and seeing what you can learn from them (as other major DC guild leaders have expressed interest in); with your attitude (and play time over the last few months), one would wonder if you're just starting to feel irrelevant and lashing out. If you have nothing constructive to add to actually improving DC's presence in pvp, then sit back and let the adults talk.
As an aside, you already posted this "we grew here, you flew here" in another thread. Do moments where you're able to string together a few clever words come so infrequently to you that you felt the need to post them again in their own dedicated thread?
This thread got super cereal super fast.
The issue with DC leadership is that all of the DC leaders do what is best for their guilds. You can't fault them for that, you can't blame them for that. Don't get me wrong, I often don't speak highly of their PvP tactics or decisions, but I do recognise that they provide a immeasurably valuable resource - a home for people to PvP in. Every one of the DC guild leaders I have spoken to, always puts their guild first. It's why you saw some of the guilds spread out to other campaigns, strangely enough, over the last few months. AFAIK this reset (the one that just finished) of AS was settled as the one campaign for DC to all home on.
Also, while I recognise that some of them may or may not like me personally (or vice versa), we have never had any issues putting our personal differences aside to work on a common goal - because we are on the same team.
I don't think doing a better job comes into it, just as someone who has been here since day 1, when DC were sitting at our gates locked, and put a group together every night to try and give the US / daytime guys something to fight with, the last thing I want us to become is the zerg faction where all of the DC who have been here, stuck it out, and fought a losing battle day after day, become what we despise.
Also, on the point of whether I'm feeling irrelevant or not, and 'just lashing out' - hardly. Sure, I haven't been around in the last 2 months, but I'm back now. Moving house and starting a new job kinda does take your time away - right now I'm a dirty casual and only really run groups on the US tail-end for a few hours or on weekends - our guild is still going every night and making inroads and doing their part courtesy of Pain in the Ax. We don't need accolades or praise to keep fighting for DC - we fight for DC because it's fun, but being a zerg faction isn't really that fun.
And yes, I pretend I am very smart. Look at my words, there are so many.
OK...that "Keep Out" sign you put up isn't exactly doing your part for DC harmony and working together for that common goal, is it?We have never had any issues putting our personal differences aside to work on a common goal - because we are on the same team.

Nah, read half the first paragraph, "mad people chose to re-roll after i re-rolled, I am a snowflake with my own unique style, these people melt my snowflake", skimmed the last "conclusion; I don't play anymore but it sucks you guys are playing DC even though I don't play anymore". It could hardly have been more incoherent, so I am glad I skipped the body. Hey nothing really wrong with any of it; at least we know you love you.

Most DC have him on ignore...
As EP, only thing I ask is to stop spamming Meteor/Shooting Star when we're laggy. That's getting ridiculous.
I agree, the meteor spam is at times, outright disgusting. People know this lags others out and yet they still do it. They seem to think that dropping dozens of meteors is somehow honorable if you win. However, this behavior is not restricted to DC players and not by a long shot. Fought a group of EP the other day who would NOT STOP DROPPING THEM every 5 seconds for a solid 10 minutes.
It's easy to assume the enemy is the only culprit. We as a community need to recognize this behavior on ALL factions, and choose to not implement it ourselves. Ultimately, we need to hold ZOS accountable for their poor, unstable servers. But to those players that knowingly take advantage of its instability: spamming broken skills to lag others out does not make you good at this game. In fact, quite the opposite.

While you may be a fan of gated communities and private clubs to keep the riff-raff and undesirables away, this is not what the DC faction (which is not you) and others have been saying for months.

I have played in all three factions since launch and if you don't think the DC faction has more petty rivalries, more disorganization, and a more toxic atmosphere than the others, you are mistaken. And if you think that the EP transplants are some sort of parasites that will infect the purity of DC and turn in into a "zerg" faction, I don't know what to tell you except to log in more often and pay attention. You do remember Brandon-South-GA? Every faction "zergs," sorry. Oh, how I remember the calls to log onto Chillrend to protect DC emp and their buff server and see the blue blob roll. If DC "zerged" less effectively it was because they are typically outnumbered and their own intra-faction drama usually prevents them from zerging as effectively as AD and EP.

Didn't I answer your damn question? I said I am the same here as I am in game. THAT MEANS MY NAME IS EXACTLY THE SAME. YOU LACK BICEPS BETWEEN THE EARS!!!???
Publius_Scipio wrote: »So let me get this straight. The great GONDOR of old is no longer popular with the general DC population? Pain in the Ax works for Gondor?
Doesn't really matter actually. All you DC better stop the infighting because when Imperial City drops things are going to get real tough in Cyrodiil. So you all better be ready to work together real real well. ANY INFIGHTING IS A DIRECT SLAP IN THE FACE TO WHISPERS TO RAVENS AND EGYPT. Now some of you might go back to the Wabbajack days and your guilds might have made a name for themselves, but ALL DC KNOW that none are more legendary than Whispers to Ravens, Egypt, and Bitaken (maybe LoM also, but Grunt and Fluffykins were always a tad kooky).
Whispers to Ravens stood as a testament to the power DC can wield when working together, even against the toughest foes.
Egypt stands for the ultimate in selflessness and only caring about DC victory on the map.
Bitaken stood for guild inclusiveness and sound leadership focused on DC campaign victory.
Now most of you will anticipate wha I am about to say, but I will say it anyways. IF YOU HERSHEY KISS THIN MINT SIZED BICEPS DO NOT HONOR THE VALUES OF THE THREE NAMED ABOVE!!! IF YOU DARE HINDER THE COVENANT IN THE NAME OF PERSONAL OR SINGLE GUILD GLORY, YOU WILL ANSWER TO MY DAMN BIIIIICCCCEEEPPPPPPSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's mostly known for his antics in DC zone chat rather than his battle prowess. Idk what this whole biceps thing is about either. That photo he initially posted of "himself" was clearly a stock photo of a swole gamer dude.
