I beat her at level 25. Basically I used the bow, I used cover and I stayed at range. It took forever and hitting the spheres seem to do a lot of damage. As she basically dealt with Merrick, I hit her from afar. It does work and it wasn't a glitch and it simply takes time and patience but it can be done. The only glitch that I had was at the end of this quest when I deposited the item, that's when the quest glitched but when I came back it still gave me the victory.

So it wasn't a luck and it wasn't a glitch. I watched as her health went down little by little until she finally died. whether you believe it or not, it can be done

My main problem with this quest is that it showed up in my list as level 29. I pinged level 30 when I tried the first time, and this one creature is the only one that game me real trouble. Just tried now at 33 and am waiting to try again at 40 or so.

Also, the lack of a mobile optimized site makes using this forum almost as annoying.

I used the bow and led her down the stairs after seeing your post.

The game crashed after I talked to Jofbir, but on reload you have completed that part.

My lvl33 nightblade died 3 times in a row before I decided to google what I was doing wrong; found this thread and beat it next attempt.

I didn't realize the orbs were healing her, I thought it was a glitch. Not having any AOE, I just pulled out a bow and used poison shot (range +no cast time) on them individually. One orb got through to her a few times, but the restored health wasn't enough to drag the fight out anymore.

Totally one of the bigger pain in the butt fights, but doable.
