Double posting to make a out of context remark... you must really want this topic to succeed!

i have to say tho, If you really think farming the exact same thing in a tiny area instead of farming everything you can get your hands on is the less "stale boring crap on rails" was the terms you used... then you must REALLY love farm sims.

in all seriousness tho, If one option is always the better, people will choose that one and burn themselves out on it. The faster you get to the end the faster you are done. In anything based on maintaining active participation, this is harmful to the end result.

If this was not a problem, they would not have changed the XP rate on anomalies, the drop rate on boss loot in dungeons, the XP rate in Dungeons, and many other changes, and the many many changes to ability in the game.

We players who enjoy this game in its entirety will always bring up any in-balance in its system. Anything that degrades even a small number of players degrades the game entirely. so personally i will do what i can to see players stick around longer, do more of the content they are given, and hopefully enjoy the entire ride. There is no point in Ignoring the issues, even if the only actual victims are the people contributing to them.

And, once again, it's not your job to decide what other people find fun or how they want to spend their game time. I say again, if someone wants to farm a zone a group of spawns, or one single spawn from here to eternity, that's their business and their business alone.

The boss drops were put on a cool down as a part of efforts to thwart botters.

And, once again, you admit what this is really all about....You wanting to force everyone to play the game based on your preferences.

It's not fun. But!
10k gold every 15 minutes is quite good going if you ask me.

I don't have any problems with "PEOPLE" who are playing their characters farming this, it's part of MMO life. However! I do have a problem with botters. And this game like most others has a bot problem, albeit a small one as the game isn't that populated anymore. Nevertheless! Botting is still an issue!

Did i ever EVER say i WANTED them to change? The very first comment is That this trend of farming the same place is likley to cause ZOS to create another nerf.

I have not once in this topic flat out told anyone "how to play", in-game i actually point this particular source of gold out to players quite openly. Despite completely ignoring it myself.

This topic is, or at least was, not a "cry for a nerf" It has from the start been a WARNING TO TRY AND PREVENT ONE.

instead the first responses were "**** you i like the easy gold" and other self entitled responses, followed by "You don't get to say how i play" and "get off your soapbox".

Your right. i don't decide how you play. i don't generally care what you do as long as it doesnt affect me.. But Zenimax can. Reguardless of this topic anything they say or do goes. Its their business to keep players playing as long as they can. if they change sometime to combat something like this that affects widely, it does affect me and i am not ok with that. Call that selfish or w/e you want.

Easy way outs are not good for that business. i have seen it many times in past games. Devs rush to change or even remove the easy ways, just to keep their players around a little while longer.

my personal experience with those shortcuts, they just make things more boring...
so i will ask this... do you really NEED to take those shortcuts? or do you simply do it because you can and want too?

Again, you say "these shortcuts" like it's a bad thing. Yes if I'm going after a particular resource, I'm going to go where I'm going to get the most of that resource in the least amount of time. It I'm trying to raise cash I'm going to do what yields the most cash in the least amount of time. It's the entire POINT of farming.

No, I don't go to a zone looking for leather but feel obligated to clear the entire zone wasting time and getting items I don't need simply to avoid offending the sensibilities of some random turd who thinks he's playing a single player game and that's how things should be done. I kill what I want when I want as anytime as I want and I do it because I need to or just want to. And that doesn't impact anyone else's game play whatsoever, aside from having wait a moment for a respawn.

You can repeat yourself all you want to the contrary but what this is clearly about is you telling other people how to play. How someone farms or doesn't has no effect on your game experience whatsoever. If you are so concerned about nerfs you wouldn't be calling for nerfs. It's so completely obvious that you just think you know what's better for everyone by what you've posted so far even to the point of saying that you know what's more fun for them than they do.

Your argument isn't just absurd, it's obnoxious. Play the game how you want and stfu and let others do the same.

We are all missing one very big and very important point that the op failed to mention.

Not a single quest in the whole area of crows wood either regular or vr rank has anything and i mean anything to do with the wolves. They are there as a way to get leather and to be a hindrance. they dont give super exp in fact the exp is laughable and they only slow or root you with attacks but you can kill them in like 1 shot (more if vr rank area). So again i state no quest require you to kill wolves in CROWS WOOD SO MOVE ON WITH THE DAMN AREA AND START THE QUEST WHERE IT REALLY STARTS AT THE GIANT BATS.

ha! well its totally irelevant now, as it was nerfed ages ago and rightfully so..

btw i have seen CWC farming and it is nothing compaired to the old gold farms or even the craglorn farms when that was "a thing".

i love that some of you came into a randomly necroed thread and took it as recent, ive done that in other necroed threads a year+ ago when the first real irrelevant necros started happening.

well its a lesson we all learn..

so ya... this old topic of mine is so irrelevant that its irrelevantly irrelevant.
