ZOS appears to be clueless at this point. They literally just added an immersion breaking mount that I would expect to see in a Final Fantasy game to ESO, in a game they specifically limited the UI and other features to increase the immersion of. They just don't stand for anything anymore, it's clear they're simply untrustworthy and incapable of doing anything to retain us at this point.
GG when the next AAA mmo comes out.

You speak as if whatever handful of new dropped sets come out will entirely outmode anything people wear currently. I would hope you would admit how blatantly wrong both of those suppositions are.bowmanz607 wrote: »What really? I don't really care about more vet ranks, what I'm worried about is my gear, it has cost a lot of money and the are all legendary. Now I gotta do it all over again? Seriously?
we already knew that we were going to get new armor with the new content. so you were going to change your armor regardless of the level.Coherence. Your post lacks it. You appear to be trying to say that it's good for ZOS to force us to grind more and get new gear, and that we wouldn't be doing that if the new gear was v14. In what world does that make sense? V16 or not, the only thing that will incentivise us to get it is if the set bonuses are worth it - ie. better than what we have now.bosmern_ESO wrote: »V16 is probably going to be only for the new sets and crafted sets. If they leave max level at V14 and release new sets everyone will continue using the sets they already have, V16 will force them to get new sets to not only stack one stat.
Which is really good IMO
bowmanz607 wrote: »Speaking as someone who crafts many sets. It is relatively cheap to craft your own gear. Let's also take into account that every time new gear has droppedal majority of players move to those sets cause they generally are better. Moreover, this is the first new gear since 1.6 has dropped which means they will be tailored to the new metas that ppl use. For instance he hinted at gear that helps fight ppl who are sheilds stacking. Yes it is inevitable that ppl will change their gear with this. Moreover, even crafted sets WI be added eventually. So whether now or later you will be changing your gear up. Bottom line is this is an evolving mmo which people must evolve with. This requires regearing to stay competitive.

Heard it again when it changed from mount skill to rider skill and mounts were account bound. Also, making nirn into gold w/O having a tong of gold in the first place was not a smart idea. We have known for some time now that nirn is broken. So unless your a full heavy armor build not that much of a return. I also do not grind anything let alone gold in this game and spend almost every min. In pvp. I still find ways to get money. I am def. Bottom tier of players when it comes to gold but still manage to get everything I need.

This this. Did it on V12, a few sets on V14 and now again for V16? BOORING
the problem is that ZoS have no idea what , when or how when it comes to Horizontal Progression.
For a game that tries so hard to not be a WoW clone, they are fast becoming a Wow clone (where it counts :P)
stupid idea of v16 cos nothing changed but u need to make new gear
And we couldn't have used them if we were still V14 or what's the argument?
Adding new sets doesn't mean they need to increase the level cap and most likely, if history teaches us anything, not upgrade the old sets, thus not even giving us anymore choice with the sets.

Replacing gear is the only difficult part, but honestly, the game is so content starved that I am fine with having to replace all of my gear if that is what it takes to get new content.
