Earning Crowns
Just a thought but I was really disappointed when I first started ESO and saw you could only purchase crowns. I was also excited starting off with 500 Crowns, but there was nothing worth buying with it... I will probably end up falling into the train of buying crowns, but I do really wish that Crowns could be earned through Achievements/Quests/Dungeons. It would be an awesome Update if put up. I don't know if others were thinking of the same thing, or if it's possible but just an idea!

Well there's always going to be people who subscribe to plus or buy crowns... They also sell a plentiful of copies of their game. So I'm just saying just an extra way to earn crowns... Free.0 -

They need to make money some way, so having the Crown Store sell convenience and cosmetic items at a premium cost is definitely the way to do it.
The store just needs more items and sales than anything else at the moment. I'd also appreciate a better UI for the Crown Store as I can only imagine how messy it will be to navigate eventually. Also, the Crown Store should be a full-screen display imo. Gives them more real-estate to use to make it look nicer and easier to navigate as more items get added to the store.Edited by Korozenn on July 12, 2015 2:17AM1 -

What youre looking for is a F2P game. Where there is a means to exchange something for Crowns. They would have to restructure not just the games rewards for this but also directly manipulate the in game economy. It should be obvious by now that this game should have been F2P.
What do you need crowns for anyway? I bought some mounts and some potions once because I didn't feel like teleporting back to town, but that's it.0 -

Agreed. I find the current selection insufficient to tempt me into spending a lot of my crowns... and am waiting eagerly for other convinience stuff to show up there. Mostly character recustomization options, roleplaying support costumes, perhaps extra bank space... perhaps even a mount if they come up with some that pique my interest... oh, well, we'll see what the future holds. (some of the stuff people have been datamining for does look nifty...)The store just needs more items and sales than anything else at the moment.

✭It'll probably come at some point in the future, maybe when they go full FTP. Lotro allows you to earn Turbine Points (or whatever they're called now) by completing deeds in game (kill x spiders, etc), enough to buy dlc with. And they continue to have a sub model that plenty of people use.0 -

✭The crown store is the main source of income for ZOS now that they have gone down that right, to make them earn-able in-game in any meaningful amount would be counter productive to the bottom line
