What in ESO has made you want to stop playing?

Nothing. For my 60, I think they earned it and then some. Maybe GTA 5, maybe skyrim come close to the sheer wealth of content offered here.

Is it perfect? No. But did you get your moneys worth? Yeah, three massive campaigns and still a massive open PvP? Yeah baby!

Compare that to the order 1886.

This is where people are divided. It's pretty decent for a video game, but pretty terrible for an MMO in the state it's in.

Bad Stamina and Armor abilitites in 2014 ...
The Light armor and Destro time only was terrible.

I just finished Cadwell's Gold for the third time. As much as I want to roll a new character, it is a long journey for me to go from Level 1 to VR14 (3 months) with my limited play time. So, with no new PVE content coming anytime soon, I find it difficult to log in just to feed mounts, do writs, and do some petty larceny. I have The Witcher III sitting on my shelf calling to me...perhaps it's time I answered.

Been there and done that. Did you know there is a character count on feedback? At least in game.

Anyway, repeated "QQ" threads of the same subject(s) should be a big hint hint for ZOS

I'm a healer. I enjoy playing in groups in dungeons, raids, etc. Not having text chat makes finding a group almost impossible. This wouldnt be an issue if the group finder worked in any way at all (seriously its a joke) but that has sucked since PC day 1.

Lack of an Auction House. I just hoard everything because I don't want to deal with the market manipulators. I'm also not as rich as everyone else and value my gold more than what others price the goods at. There is no competition between goods because it's all sold at the same price. Then you have to run around trying to find what you want without a search bar to find specific named items.

I am in four trade Guilds and buy and sell between. It will never be as good as an auction house. But a suggestion is to make a guild solely for the purpose of having a 500 slot Guild bank. I have a guild and made it so I am the only one who can deposit and withdraw. Might seem like a waste to some but that 500 extra spaces is worth it to me.

On PC so add ons give a lot of needed stuff that would want to make me quit. So all good in the hood here.

Only thing right now that drives me nuts is how there is no incentive to stay pure blood. If you don't go vamp then might as well go WW. Totally bugs me since I have like a persona for my main as a pure kind nature-loving wood elf, some kind of naturalist. WW just doesn't fit that bill for me as it speaks of corruption but I'm tempted to get it for the darn passive every day.

I left the game after the B2P announcement (I am here now only to re-assess the status of the game in case it is worth playing again; not looking good). That was the final straw after a long line of disapointments that seem to have not yet been fixed. The things that come to mind:

Poor client performance
Unbearable lag in PvP
Broken skills
Horrible reward structure
Lack of promised content (remind me again why I subbed)
The VR system
Cadwell's grind\helping the other factions
The wonky way in which we are forced to sell items
The horrible UI
The nerfing to anything that allows us to do the horrendous grind through VR faster.
The hand-holding that is level 1-50 quests
The feeling of having been "played" in beta

Just to name a few. I am sure I am forgetting some as it's been a while.

My wife and I cooperatively played together (when not forced into solo instances) all the way to defeating Molag Bal.

Then, Sir Pot-on-Head invited us to start all over from scratch as nobodies, working for the factions we'd just spent all that time fighting.

Seemed anti-climatic to both of us, and my wife just stopped playing altogether. I mean, we just beat the major baddie, and then you are offered the silver quest?

Really?

Stupid design.

Anyway, I'm still playing alts from time to time, but we both unsubscribed.

If people didn't care about this game or like it then they wouldn't even waste time on the forums. But because I do like this game I posted with the hope that ZOS will think before making certain choices players dislike. ZOS can't make everyone happy and I understand that 100% but some of the things they did are questionable.

If people didn't care about this game or like it then they wouldn't even waste time on the forums. But because I do like this game I posted with the hope that ZOS will think before making certain choices players dislike. ZOS can't make everyone happy and I understand that 100% but some of the things they did are questionable.

Not only do people complain because they care, but the "I quit" threads are also very important. Why? Because they are made by people who also care about the game and who also want to urge the devs, in a meaningful and impactful way, to improve their game. Normally we would "vote with our wallets" as withholding money is the most impactful way to motivate a big company like ZOS. But since we have all already paid our $60 or whatever (and refunds are never forthcoming), we cannot vote with our wallets. "I quit" threads are the next best thing or at least that is what most gamers appear to believe (myself included).

Group-gated content is the WORST... a real slap in the face to all the solo PvEers who came for an online Elder Scrolls experience and got WoW with a Tamriel skin. What is group-gating? When the developers place pressure pads or wall switches in the game that MUST be pressed by multiple players in order to progress through the content. Craglorn is full of this crap, but there are other places, too... Direfrost Keep, for example. There are also bosses sprinkled throughout Tamriel's instanced dungeons that have mechanics that basically make them impossible to solo, no matter how strong your build and skills are. This is all so lame and unnecessary, because there are plenty of ways to make bosses super challenging without making them impossible to solo.

The only thing that makes me stop playing is the fact tha eventually Britain has a few days of summer: find it hard to buckle down and play when it's roasting outside until 10pm and I have to sleep to work.

Besides that , a bit complacent because no idea when (or if) something gets added or nerfed (why does predictive text turn 'nerfed' into 'needed' Weird, anyway, casually plugging along for now .....
