No Emperor in Versidue-Shae

Why is there currently no emperor in this campaign? My friend is number 1 in Ebonheart which currently holds all 6 keeps needed for emperor. Each keep has been lost to the enemy and recaptured. Are we missing something here?

    What is his AP score?

    You have to be over a specific ammount of AP in order to be crowned Emperor, this was added to stop Emperor trading. Sadly the exact ammount of AP required escapes my memory.

    The fact that there's no Emperor in a campaign called "Versidue Shaie" makes me giggle a little.


    But for your question, did anyone abdicate the crown? If so, all inner keeps must be flipped to another faction, and your faction must retake them.

    Someone did abdicate, but we have lost all keeps and retaken them. He has 337000 points and is in first

    He said he had 50,000 alliance points but I thought those didn't have any bearing on emperor status. According to Zenimax at least.

    Most likely issue is you retook a keep before the last one fell. For example, you have Blue Road Keep, so you go south and take Alessia from AD. You lose BRK, but since you retook Alessia the ring was never really lost and the reign of No Emperor continues.

    I believe if you hold all keeps during a downtime and the throne is empty it actually crowns the number one player. This may have been changed since last I knew the mechanics.

    Yea it works. We had this issue on Haderus PC NA months ago.

    Yea it works. We had this issue on Haderus PC NA months ago.

    I believe this is fixed.

    @OP, you must have at some point lost all 6 keeps at the same time. Losing the keeps and taking them back one at a time is not enough, you must at some point own none of the 6 inner keeps.

    Hah I remember back when that happened on Haderus. We actually got tells from AD players to keep AD from retaking the ring after a botched abdication. I'll be glad when ZOS makes changes to stop this malarkey, but tbh they should have nipped emp trading in the bud last CENTURY ffs. It's very amusing seeing the enemy faction scramble to get back their precious buffs and pitch a hissy fit over it when they don't have that extra 2% crit for their vet DSA or whatever.

    That's the problem we have then. We never lost all 6 keeps at the same time. We lost them one at a time.
