Disappearing Resource Nodes from Craglorn Surveys

I recently completed a top-level woodworking writ and received a Craglorn woodworking survey as a result. After harvesting the first node, the others all disappeared, and the survey map was removed from my inventory. I thought the ESO Support response I received might be helpful to others, so I'm including it here, below. I'm also curious if anyone else has experienced this issue:

We are aware of an issue which may occur when players have both Blacksmith Survey: Craglorn I and Woodworking Survey: Craglorn II at the same time, where the resource nodes may either fail to spawn or spawn and despawn.
We expect this to be resolved soon, but in the mean time, if you are unable to use the maps, you may want to try placing one of the two surveys in the bank, or passing them to another character on the account. Once the one survey is successfully used, the other can then be passed back to the primary character for use.

I wonder if you could also leave the Survey map in the container rather than passing it back and forth to an alt/bank.

Edit, in fact, I got these two surveys a week or two ago and that is what I did. I left one in the container and harvested the first survey, then got the map for the second one and farmed that one. It may not be consistent, but I do know the X or the Survey nodes do not show up until the map is in your inventory, so it should work.

That makes sense. Just keep the survey(s) in the bag until you're ready to use each one.

Thanks for posting and sharing ESO's reply to your support ticket. Yesterday my Craglorn woodworking survey nodes disappeared after I harvested the first one. There were no problems with the alchemy or ores but the lumber poofed on me.

Did you notice whether you still received more than the first node worth of mats?

The first time I tried equipment writs in Craglorn I also got the disappearing nodes, but the game actually gave me several more than one node worth of mats. I thought it might just be lag induced.

The one time this happened to me, I only got the first node; the others disappeared before I could activate any of them.

I experienced this with Enchanting survey, first one I picked up 2 runes and then the rest disappeared. I ran a little away and came back, did that a few times no nodes were respawning!
... did another Enchanting writ same day, got a survey to same spot. I went there, saw one node, ran toward it and they all disappeared before I picked any up. So I ran a little away, they spawned again. I could pick them all up.

I have also experienced Alchemy nodes disappear in case I disconnect. When I log back in, the nodes are all gone

Thank you OP. This may explain why i have had half a dozen disappearing WW 2 surveys. I make writs with multiple alts and collect survys to one toon. So i have high probability to have those two in inventory.

I have seen the wood to disappear both after harvesting one and after harvesting few nodes

Some surveys disappear while approaching. Then relog has helped or me.
