I love the "everyone rush the tower but healers touch the outside walls and heal through the walls tactic"; we've been using it since i caught you guys doing it.
Your team has an amazing understanding of the game's mechanics and take advantage of anything possible. Which is fair in war.

its only really good against many people blobbed up since you have to cast it outside of the fight and can't spam it.First it was bats, then it was oil, then impulse, then wall of elements, ad infinitum. The Q_Q train never stops. You would prefer a recap full of Steel Tornado? That's what I get whenever we fight any other organized group, yet you don't hear me complaining. The fact is that people who min/max will always use the ability that offers the most bang for the buck. If you don't like it maybe PvP, or MMORPGs in general, aren't the place for you. If there were multiple skills that did the exact same damage, or offered other benefits that outweighed the dps loss, they would be used. Unfortunately, there are not many options.Rook_Master wrote: »So everyone is excited about the new meta?
Because honestly this has a lot to do with why PvP is dying.
In response to the other images, even stupid squirrels get acorns.
If you see lots of Steel Tornados, safe to say that they probably all using double sharpened maces too :P
Will always be a meta, I think this one aggravates some more than others in the past because Detonation was supposed to be a "zerg" buster but now the "zergs" use it to wipe out everyone else.
Does that imply that you're going to find 10 people and show us something we haven't seen? I'm sure you know who to get a hold of to organize it. We'll continue to wait.
They dodge all of the actually good groups, so yeah they probably haven't. They're referring to organized 10v10, not organic fights.

dont worry our 10vdeci clips we have will maybe be in the next video
Did you guys get footage from that night at Nikel (Friday / Saturday 27th?) when it was Short Bus, Deci, Havoc? That was a really fun night.

If I recall correctly we spent a lot of time moving around over the course of those fights waiting for the right moment to attack. My guess is that someone has them recorded. It would definitely showcase the amount of organization and strategy involved in "zerging." I also seem to remember doing a dolmen to lure out a stealth bomb.

Of course large trains can use it too, but its a viable tactic for smaller groups to zergbust those big groups so that part is working well.

Well the point of an zergbuster ability is that it has high burst, isn't it?its only really good against many people blobbed up since you have to cast it outside of the fight and can't spam it.First it was bats, then it was oil, then impulse, then wall of elements, ad infinitum. Agreed. Though you can just quickly reposition yourself and animation cancel it and get right back in the fight within a few seconds.
It's more along the lines of the low TTK, and the huge burst that proxy has because you can cast while it's on you. I think maybe a mechanic to balance it would be that you can't use any abilities while the bomb is on you. We will see how the new proposed changes affect things.

Nope, it's to bust up zergs.
They did Prox Det all wrong, it should be scaling with the amount of people hit.

That was most definitely an exploit, hence the patch to fix it. It was also something you never "caught" Havoc doing, because we never did.

Not accusing you of it, just trying to point out that healing through a wall not being consider an exploit is like saying porting through walls wasn't...
Yeah I've yet to see anything that says caltrops/healing going through walls is a bug, so as far as we're concerned its WAI. Can't exploit something that is WAI...
