Given the history of Bethesda games, I won't be jumping on the bandwagon until they've gotten a couple patches out at least lol. Might even wait for the dlc so I can get it all in one package on the cheap. I'll play it....eventually.

The Console populations are going to take a major hit from players in November. COD Black Ops III, Fallout 4 & Star Wars Battlefront all come out that month. ZOS will be lucky if they have 20% of the Console population they have now still playing....

You underestimate Bethesda's loyal fanbase. We're glued to these games for years. Of course, a big part of this fanbase probably isn't playing ESO at all...

Errrr nopes. Thats not true at all. ^^ Or perhaps it is if you are someone who runs and guns and misses 95% of the game as some seem to in ESOTU.

However, I won't be 'dumping' ESOTU to play Fallout4, even though I will be playing it, of course.
Some folks can play more than one game at a time strange phenomenom though that may seem.

Elder Scrolls and Fallout have two separate player bases. There is obviously some cross over. Personally I will be playing Fallout 4 for a few weeks, but not constantly. I have dedication to friends in ESO that have no interest in Fallout 4. I would not abandon my friends for a game, but they all know that I will only be on during scheduled events for a few weeks.

the wonderful thing about gaming ( having just started esotu on xbox 1 in june , loving it and knowing that fallout 4 is coming and knowing I will love that to ( as I did fo3 , fonv ) ) is that FO4 can wait - 2 years if needs be , for when I am finished with eso: tu . There's no rush . When I'm finished Esotu , fo4 will be better patched , with more dlc available , more wikis up , full forums to help and it 'll be cheaper than first release as well . And the other games that I haven't played because of eso : tu :- witcher 3 , dragonage inquisition - they'll still be available too - years of entertainment queud up -decades of gaming fun to look forward to !!

It would be very... unwise... for TESO to release new content in November. That's pretty much a guaranteed suicide to sales.

Fallout 4 is going to spank the bejeezus out of the competition this holiday. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if pre-order sales are the best ever for a Bethesda game, but it's not like we'll ever know.

By the way, I have a question: Why in the world is the gaming industry sticking with that moronic Tuesday launch day? Seriously, put that stuff out on Friday. There's no [censored for the skeevers] reason to keep to Tuesday.

Yeah the "New Frost" mount is a little disappointing TBH. lol.. Same thing as the fire one with blue instead of red... Man I hope this isn't a sign of the creativity ZOS has for a cash shop because if it is.. The servers will be shutting down if they are relying on shop sales to keep the game alive..

Will add though that there isn't anything coming out that I am looking at playing. I have been waiting for ESO for years, but I hope ZOS turns things around soon because unlike myself most console players do not have the patience that I have and most certainly will be leaving if things do not improve.

:Edit: Having played ESO PC and my console preorder being paid in full since may of 2014 at GameSpot I can truly say I am shocked to see the game in the shape it is in. If it would have provided a better game and more content I would have gladly paid for a sub fee on the console.

Sadly it is starting to feel like the DEV team just gave up after they announced pulling the sub fee. Between that and ZOS losing almost half of the employees before they should have clearly has left the game in survival mode...

I could see myself going back to NeverWinter if things go south with ESO. I know a lot of people say bad things about it, but honestly for a console MMO it is surprisingly decent lol.

So you must be a die hard PVP'er or a power quest-er.

With all the mods and DLC for Fallout 3 and new Vegas, I must have put 1000 hours into those games. I expect to spend six or more months playing Fallout 4.

As for Witcher 3, I just started and it may be possible to finish the game in two weeks, but you miss out on so much extra game content.

There are S0oooooo many of these people trying to do this with ESO.

You can see them flying through quest and then asking for help continuing a quest simply because they never bothered to read or even listen to the quest NPC and now they have no idea about the puzzle or next thing to do in a quest.

These are also the same people that come onto the forums asking about what to do now that they are 40+ and out of quest lol.

My favorite are the ones that freak out when you tell them there are 16 skyshards on each map and also quest give skill points and they missed out on a few. I know of a few VET ranks that will NEVER get all of the SP's they could have only because they "Raced through the game"
