This has probably been said a million times.. So im just adding to the count.
I really love this game.. but the group finder is broken and its really annoying when you just want to group up and run a dungeon.
In a game like Neverwinter.. it works very easily...and smooth. But in this game.. whaaat the freakin hell?
There needs to be an easier way to do this, as it is in most games. And i would seriously PAY money for it..
Instead i now sit outside of dungeons and pray for 3 players... near my level.. to join. And that is going to be the thing that makes me want to NOT play this game anymore in the long run.
Take it as you want.. The game is a HIT on consoles.. So better fix this ASAP before people get tired of it.

Well ya... Text chat would make things easier.
But grouping up should be should be easy....
They really need to fix this.. and soon. if they want to keep selling high priced items in store, they need to keep players around and happy. And players are already started to get frustrated over this. I know i am.1 -

And what sucks about waiting is getting players that are no where near your level. And they pretty much your only option after waiting for so long.
So..when finally grouped up.. was 5 levels higher then the leader. Go no drops... at all.
But hey. At least i finally got to play0 -

I'm in three large guilds know why it doesn't help? We are all different levels haha0 -

I mean seriously.
How hard is it to just make a SIMPLE lobby option. Even as basic as a lobby system like GTA O or L4D.
...HOST.
Opens lobby. Picks the Dungeon.
With options that say.. Public. guild, group, invites or friends only.
Once everyone joins.. HOST starts it.. and starts RIGHT at the start of the dungeon the moment he presses start.
Players looking for groups. have options. Random or certain dungeon.
And join a lobby or join in progress or join anything.
I dunno.. is that to complicated?

VtCwby07✭I think the difference for most when it comes to comparing ESO to Neverwinter is that NW is a Free-to-Play game v ESO which people had to buy. So people assume it should be fixed. There's no website or add-on made for finding groups.. Hence its a tiny issue.
If the playerbase wanted an LFG system there would be a LFG add-on or website.

that's an add-on to invite people automatically due to you being busy.
Just a tip,
This is one game where you don't go around and yapping LFG if you need a group. This game has codewords and people who go around saying "such and such LFG", all you will get is people laughing at you.
You have to use codewords. ESPECIALLY in PvP.0 -

Only allow two option for people looking for a group.
Random NORMAL Group Dungeon
--This will auto level (or de-level) your character to match the level of the group. You can still form a group for a specific dungeon, but when trying to fill missing spots you have a much larger pool to choose from.
--Loot will be auto leveled to match your main characters level
Random VETERAN Group Dungeon
--As above this will match you up with the next in line dungeon that a player is forming, or create a random group of players from the "random" pool.
--The Veteran dungeons will not change your Vet level, but will give you additional loot apon completion of the random dungeon.
Once you enter the queue for either looking for, or creating a group you will auto join the LFG channel, this allow those who are higher level to either help lower levels, or give DPS classes a better chance at joining a group faster as they could be picked up through the chat channel before their queue pops.0 -

As a result, we should be grateful that the group finder still exists instead of being removed like those API that revealed too much information during beta.0 -

After spending an hour.. trying to group. Nothing...
I was so frustrated... shut it off.
Came back an hour later with the attitude of " I will never play these dungeons".
They are probably fun.. But i give up.
