If you're saying what I think you're saying, you want a cap placing on the amount of you can earn in a day then NO!
CAPS ARE EVIL, period. I resent games developers dictating to me how much I am allowed to play, things like raid locks to prevent you doing more than one a week, or even a day, should have no part in games for which I pay for.

i see grinding and griefing like an exploit of the game, becouse some zones are not well developed or tested.
if you are going to take advantage of this is allowed at the moment, but is nothing more then cheating, and ruin the normal character progression over questing.
i don't see any reason to get a v14 in 10 day when you are going to play for years.
i had a mule sorc v13 respec for crating and i was able to gain 800.000 xp in a day at reaper march killing those giaint snake.
you may complain i have done, becouse i do it, but i am the first to admit is cheating. so i'm here to ask for a fix
whats the point....
BurtFreeman wrote: »Lets also cap the amount of AP you can earn in a day, that way when people in PvP hit the cap they can leave because whats the point...
And lets cap gold gains per day as well. In fact lets just have them patch the game so you can only log in for a few hours per day and then it boots you off....
This is kind of like what your suggesting....
well, if you prefer we can have happy hours in all tamriel, with 1 million xp point just for log into the game.
xp cap is already in the game, you may notice doing quest below your level, if you do quest. so what am i talking is not something bad, is a good thing to keep away cheating from the game.
we may also have 2 style of playgame: the pure and the cheaters. what do you like?

the point is get fun role playng. if you are playing only for xp, i feel sorry for you.

I'm not sure why grinding bothers you so much...
So everyone must play the way you think is right? I also feel sorry for you.

Ah, you are one of those.
Could have saved us a lot of time reading had you mentioned that first line in your OP...
BurtFreeman wrote: »i discover later in a game the possibility to fast levelling in some spot.
before i always wear exploration armor till v14 and was fine (1 month to finish the gold at v13, playing every day)
grinding may be fine, but put a daily break on xp gain could be a nice solution to manage this situation.
the daily xp amount could be 200.000 - 250.000 xp, so to get a veteran level you need at list 4-5 days, that is more then a reasonable time in creating a character.
hope you like it

I did not want to do a million quests I had already completed

A better solution would be for the devs to assure that there actually are viable grinding spots on the landscape in non-questing zones, so if people want to go there and veg-out killing mobs for hours they can and it would not interfear with quest kills or quest xp.
I don't like the fact that you want to roleplay!
This would be fine. I'm planning to run a character through each factions story, then when I come to make alts I'll grind them up instead since I've seen everything.A better solution would be for the devs to assure that there actually are viable grinding spots on the landscape in non-questing zones, so if people want to go there and veg-out killing mobs for hours they can and it would not interfear with quest kills or quest xp.

yes, i agree! we should have a grinding garden, where kids play nicely and their parents go else where for more interesting questing.

Dont know why but i tend to see it quite often. "Kids" used as a pejorative decription of players choosing a different approach to the game or its systems. Is it me or its a little immature?
