I agree but we shouldn't have panther vanity pets. It's absolutely stupid to have an animal like that literally never do anything but follow you around. At least with the sphere I can pretend like it's just broken.Akavir_Sentinel wrote: »I, for one, am glad that vanity pets have no purpose other than to sit there and look stupid. If players could have pets that actually did something, or could be used in combat, ESO would turn into an 8 year old Pokemon fan's wet dream. There would be ridiculous pets all over the damn place all the time. You wouldn't be able to get away from it.

There are a few quests where NPCs will fight with you instead of cowering during battle, but there are no long-term companions like in Skyrim. There are also no characters that can locate treasure.badhabit314 wrote: »alright thx. Didnt get into oblivion, just skyrim since oblivion was old news when I started the series unfortunately. So when can I get an attacking companion? And do any sniff out treasure? Just curious.
As soon as you'll start summoning your Sorcerer pets.badhabit314 wrote: »when can I get an effective companion?
