in my opinion, stam templer and DKs are pretty close at the the top. For PvE, NBs are a bit behind them, and Sorcs come last for the Stam-DPS builds.
Since all stam builds use primarily weapon abilities, all classes capabilities are pretty close...

Any class except sorceror works well for stamina builds.
Use 7 medium armor. And a 2 hander.
    PS4 / NA
    M'asad - Khajiit Nightblade - Healer
Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer
Leonin - Khajiit Warden - Tank

i dont get why more powers dont have stamina morphs? such as the templar gap closer? why on earth are both mana based? it seems like they are catering to mana based :'(

For PVE the hardest content to solo are the public dungeons? (one in each zone, 4-6 bosses in each). I do know that my Imperial stamina DK.......... (2-hander-DW) soloed them all. There were a couple that I couldn't get every boss in because it takes more than one person to trigger the boss fight.

I don't know how much dps I was pulling........but it was more than enough!

    PVP........I don't know?

Until quite recently there was no such thing as a stamina morph for class skills - they were all magicka based. Now there are a few that have stamina morphs. I wouldn't be surprised if in a later "balancing" update they add a few more. Frankly, going whole hog and making a ton of stamina morphs all in one go probably would have been very bad for game balance. Better to do it gradually IMO.

A lot of the Normal Dungeons can be soloed and people soloed some vet dungeons at least partially.. People even completed normal DSA solo. That is however not a dps test since those builds are generally very special highly survivable high sustain tanks with some offensive.

From What I seen however all classes can do stamina dps just fine at the moment for end game.

I don't know any public dungeons that require a team to trigger bosses. I have solo'd pretty much all the public dungeons. heck I solo'd most of the group challenges as well.

Yes, one. It was where you had to step on the squares and the other person steps on the mirror ones.

It's basically 6 squares. One person on each, they light up, move to next one until they're all lite up. That summons the public dungeon boss in....Alik'r desert?

**EDIT: And on consoles, trying to teach a random person so we can summon it was painful. No voice, not helpful tid bits, just trying to hit them jump on square, they go to square, show them next step, repeat.

Sure, but my guy is 2-heavy/5-med.....28,000 stamina/1,100 regin,65%-70% weapon crit, and 3,200 weapon damage...........without potions. I don't know anything about the group stuff because I can't group well enough, I wish I could............ (I can't type without stopping, finger problems, old age). He is not a special build, or a tank.

I (assume) only that he can pull a fair amount of dps because my other 4 vet builds can't drop bosses, or large packs nearly as quickly as he can.......I could be wrong?....... (being pretty much a forced loner, I have not thought much about important group stats).

Could you possibly post your Imperial DK stamina build, flint stone? I too am trying an imperial DK stamina build and would be interested in seeing your setup. Also, I am currently running duel blade with a 2 hand back up for execution. Will running duel blade be sufficient for end game content or should I switch my primary to 2h?

IMO, you need to focus on a couple things when deciding on a character build.

    1) Do you want to focus more on weapon abilities or class abilities? If you focus on weapon abilities, stamina is a must. If you want to focus on class abilities, magicka is more beneficial as each class only has 2-3 abilities out of the available 15 that have stamina morphs.

    2) Do you have a preference on armor type? Light armor is for magicka users, medium for stamina users, and heavy for tanks.

    3) Is the class important to you? If you have a preference on a class, then some are better geared for stamina or magicka. All classes can do magicka well (some better than others), but sorcerers don't have any stamina morphs, so making a viable stamina sorc would be very challenging (though not impossible).

Templar is arguably the best stamina user as it has multiple stamina recovery abilities and some great stamina class morphs. DKs come in a close second with some decent resource recovery as well and some great stamina morphed class skills. Nightblade is good as well, but have more trouble managing stamina than templars and DKs.

I use mostly 3 dregh king slayer, 5 hundings rage (5 med/2heavy)... and two Vipers sting daggers (around 3200 weapon damage with rally). My Imperial stamina DK has around 23,000 health and 27,000 stamina right now (with food). My stamina regin is around 1,000 (more with green dragon blood) My crit is around 60-72%.........it goes up and down depending on weapon and perks. I have werewolf stamina perk. Of course potions can change any of this around.......I left them out. I use stamina cost reduction everywhere I can.....it helps a lot.

I have other armor/weapons I can switch in and out......more weapon damage, more stamina regin, higher crit, ect.......these do effect each other, or other stats though........always a trade off somewhere.

I use a lot of fire and fire dots along with speed, weapon damage, and fairly high crit......stamina morphs of course, and tri-stat food or drink.........depending.

I can also go 5 dregh king/5 hundings rage armor.......2 hundings daggers or swords, and hundings great sword for more weapon damage perk/30% speed perk. All weapons and armor are vet14 purple for now.

I do switch my skills around now and then for a bump in speed, or a bump in crit.......right now it's speed over crit for me.

Thank you, flintstone. So you would recommend stamina reduction over recovery?

You sure im only vr 4 but when fighting bosses i take about 30% more of the bosses health in one hit than templer and mages i am well geared tho

That is tricky question for me........I think stamina reduction is better for me at late game, maybe recovery at early game (1-50). I think it's something you may need to tweak to your play style and skill rotations......play around with the drinks at times.......plus enchants and buffs until you find a good balance between the two (thats what I did......trying to get the smallest trade offs that you can live with.)

If you can get your stamina level up very high, and your stamina regin up fairly high........the tri-stat drinks are great for regin
