Can't group up with friend on same server, same faction

Wanting to group up with a real friend and we are have yet to be able to. We both created even the same race, same faction (Ebonheart Pact) same North American servers, both on Xbox one. Can't group up, or even see each others characters. We tried to do a group invite, and got "Player not found". Please help.

Same but it tells me characters not found but I can log onto my brother profile same Xbox one and what would u know there there and I can them, so why is it I can't on my profile ?

Any resolution to this? I am having similar issues since the release of the DLC.

Well.. this really should be in the XBox section, but a few general questions..

1. Hit your group button, top left hand side, if its like PC and check to make sure BOTH you and he are "online" any other option and you get that error.
2. Have you tried using each others @Name. For example yours is @Urthwurm
3. Try a guild invite to the @ name first.

We had these problems at launch on PC. Usually at least one worked.

Otherwise, head to the top, click the "Support" button and fill out the form. Then, wait in line, as a lot of other tickets are ahead of you with the IC console launch.
