Nope, transfers were a one-time deal and that time is done.

@Hanscrolo, it wasn't really a "transfer", it was a copy. You still have your characters on PC but the progress you made on console isn't reflected on PC.
But, to respond to your original post, yea. I tried console. I didn't care for it. I couldn't get used to the control scheme.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
That's right... Horse.

I started gaming on console and played a lot of Skyrim there so I never could get use to the mouse/keyboard for movement & combat. For ESO on PC I decided I had to have a good gamepad controller. I use Xpadder ($10US) and I am very happy with it. I know I have seen others who say it sucks but I love it.
I DID have to figure out how it works and map it to the keys that suit me. And I do use some tricks to get more control options. I have looked over the ESO controls for consoles and I have a LOT more capability programmed into Xpadder with my setup. For example, I use L2 (PS3 controller) kinda like a shift key to give me another set of controls. So, for example, the X button maps to space (jump) but L2 + X button maps to R (take all/ultimate). L2 + Select button takes me to a 3rd set of controls for interacting with menus.
Tapping L2 + R2 = Q (quick)
While R2 is held my controls all map to various emotes so I can use them on the fly. For example, I might whistle to get the rest of my group's attention in a dungeon, point to show them what needs to be done, or cheer when we beat a boss. Much quicker than texting or typing emotes on a keyboard.
Generally for interacting with the menus I'll use mouse + keyboard because they are natural for that. Plus I have some quick swaps programmed into my keypad (using an addon called QuickSlotBar) so I can swap Q to a different potion on the fly with one keypress. I can slot health, stamina, or magica by pressing 1, 2, or 3 on my keypad, then Q to drink it. My point is, you STILL have the keyboard + mouse anytime that is better.
The key is to figure out how it all works and then set it up to suit your style of play. Trying to use the setup from someone with a completely different style of play, yeah, that would suck.
There are some old freeware versions of Xpadder out there but they are way out of date and lack a lot of capabilities and stability. It's kinda like using Windows Vista and expecting it to perform like Windows 7 or 8.
Because it was just a copy you can still play on the PC. Could play both if you are really bored
I say stick to PC with xpadder for the moment till we get controller support.
Time for reckless audacity and derring-do!~
