Should I sell materials?

So I'm lvl 26 and moving on to greenshade and I did all the rits for this zone and I have 120 steel ingots, 39 flax, 40 hide, 30 raw jute and 30 raw flax am I better of using them for my self or selling them to another player. If so how much should I charge?

I would set up a system of mules. You will more than likely want these mats later down the road.

I myself have 4 palyable characters and 4 mules. Each mule carries specific crafting mats for each profession. My 4 active characters cover all the crafting options.

While I play...I drop stuff off stuff at the bank. When it fills up I transfer the items to each mule. I have tons of mats...and still have room for more. It takes a while to set up...but after you do...its pretty smooth.

Back when I first started playing, when in this position I use to keep the materials too, till I realised that I was wasting space, so I sold them. When I created new characters I found they would basically gather enough to craft any item without having to draw on any other supplies from other character/s etc.

It is not hard to collect more if need be too. One just has to keep one's eye open a bit and take note where they appear in clusters (e.g. ore around some rocky areas) went out adventuring, so you have some direction if more harvesting is needed.

I did tend to refine the materials before I sold them though, and kept the upgrade materials.

As soon as I got a full stack (200 items) of a certain material I sell that stack. obvioulsy I have no issue to collect that mat and it grows back on soon enough.I sell them in packets of 50 btw. Just as a convinience for potential buyers.
