whilst im in no hurry to level, I dont get grps tbh so i solo at the moment.

do i literally keep doing what i am doing? clearing the entire zone of quests and delves etc.. or do i just need to concentrate on Cadwells Silver quests on their own.. will that level me up via the main story arcs he wants me to do?

thanks.

I've been going along same as I did on the road to 50, do every quest main and sideline and should be just over levelled by end of map

There's not much point doing Cadwell's silver quests by themselves if your aim is to level via questing. If you're trying to reach Cadwell's gold, sure, blitz through silver, otherwise take it slow. Basically just go through each zone and get it to 100% complete before moving on (much like you did from 1-50, that is, assuming you did). By that I mean complete all available quests, dungeons, dolmens and achievements in each zone sort of thing. This in turn incorporates Cadwell's silver and the story itself will flow.

More or less doing this grants one VR point so when you reach the next area you'll be the same level as the mobs in that particular zone.

im almost VR2 from Auridon isle, or will be once im done, just seemed like maybe i was doing it the hard way, but i guess not.

ive still got a ton to learn about this game...*cries*

i must admit, i like delves more now than i used to, since levelling a !h & Sheild Templar in PvE is easy mode.

Just keep doing what you're doing.

My routine thus far at V3 is..

    1. Log in
    2. Set Horse training/Research.
    3. Join Queue for Any Dungeon as DPS.
    4. Continue to complete entire maps, all Delves, Dolmen's, World Bosses and quests etc.
    5. If dungeon pops, complete and then return to 3.

    Works for me.

Eh, the game itself isn't exactly challenging if you're at the appropriate level range for a given area and have a basic understanding of how your class works.

Not sure if you all know, but you are required to finish Cadwell's Silver in order to progress to VR6 - VR10 zones.

Templar is pretty much unkillable unless your solo against a world boss ive found in my spec.

i will be levelling a NB alt perhaps later on.

'Main' Silver quests will ultimately allow you to unlock the Gold zone. Plus, many of those reward skillpoints on completion.

If you want max benefit from XP's though, you can clear the zone.

There are certain world bosses which will give you grief unless you're on your A game sort of thing, take the soulfire plateau for example, it can be quite a pain.

Ah Soulfire... the VR1 trio that is harder than some VR10 world bosses.

They're the Vet Ranks welcoming committee, you know?

you could level quickly (finish silver quests only and grind your v10 zone) or level slowly (do every quest) as ppl have mentioned. Which would YOU rather do?

Or do what 70-80% of people are doing, pair with a friend, rings of mara and eso plus. Go to the vet 5 zone in your silver area, find a group of mobs with insanely fast respawn times, ie, necros etc just up from zombies by first WS if you play AD, pul all groups in sync, aoe nuke, loot, rinse and repeat for 1-3h and level up.

Its mindless but fast, insanely good for professions, i did blacksmithing 1-45 in 3vr lvls of this, purples, blues and set items galore, gold till you are full. I did this vr1-5 in two nights, but have now stopped to go through silver line (i hate questing, more boring to me then farming, and a tenth as rewarding) till i get to gold and can push on farming the highest zone on arrival. You may miss sp's but i did 6maps of skyshards with friends in one night and have more points then i need at this point.

We also break it up with dungeons for a bit of loot and xp. If you stick at it you could easy be vr14 in an average week of grinding a few hours a night. Feel free to add Anakee, ps4, eu AD for a grind sometime. Or join our dungeon guild if you struggle for grps.

Read quests might help. I recommend you do all of Silver zones then you can start doing Craglorn and Gold zones, then later Trials, Vet Dungeons and normal/vet DSA.

To answer your question, no. doing only silver quests will leave you underleveled by the end of your v5 zone.

I've done that and I was Vet14 before to finish the last zone of Silver Cadwell :p
Well..to be fair I also did a lot of Gold Pledge (got 45 keys beofre to hit Vet14), Silver pledge, some Craglorn and some Cyrodiil.

On my main, after the V2 zone, I focused on the Cadwell quests so I could go everywhere in the game and then went back later to complete the zones.

On my sorc, I'm doing everything in a zone before moving on. Same thing with my Templar. I like it better that way.

Though I usually get one, maybe two quest hubs done before something else comes up.

This. Personally I did the Silver quests first, to the point of unlocking Gold.

At that point, the whole world is open to you and you can do what you wish, where you wish. It will give you more opportunity to spice things up a bit if you get bored in a particular locale.

Also, quest XP never changes, so you'll get the same gold, XP's, and decon reward at VR14 as you will at VR1. You simply won't get as much mob kill XP.
