Should ZeniMax Make an ESO Movie?

I don't know why you would let Zenimax do the movie. They aren't a "movie company". I would rather let Bethesda help with the movie script and let some professional movie producers make it.

Skyrim movie might just work, becaues of Game of Thrones and Vikings TV-series, but Im not sure about ESO as whole, it should be very high budget movie. If they do it, do it cult movie, some twisted daedric Skyrim thing. ESO as whole means take on LOTR, and boy thats gonna cost. How about ESO the TV-series, Game of Thrones and Vikings aint gonna last forever and they arent that so damn expensive either.

I would love an Elder Scrolls film.

But there's other periods of history that they could do rather than ESO. We are seeing this story here.

If they wanted to do a big screen version of Elder Scrolls, there's loads of periods of history to pick from in the timeline of Tamriel.

If you watch all the cinematic in the game it equals up to around 20 min. Its basically a short movie already, I would like to see them tke it to the next level and have it around an hour or something like that. Doesnt have to be the current eso storyline either. So many great and evil characters in Elder Scrolls, its hard to pick a main focus point.

They've shown they're clueless at how to make a quality TES game, why would I want to see them fail at making a movie as well.

The teaser trailers and the full composite one are well done technically perhaps, but the story they're telling is at best opaque and frankly at the end I was routing for the 'baddie' .. whoever he is, the CGI doesn't even attempt to explain what's going on, you learn more from the opening CGI in-game.

They've made nearly 30 minutes of cinematic trailers for the game, all of which misrepresent the tone, pace, and gameplay of ESO as a whole.

But I guess if you threw in a pointless love triangle, comic relief, and a few travel montages, you'd have a 90 minute movie.

People are jumping on the actual Game story we get to play as the story we'd see. But Id much rather see the Akaviri Invasion and the formation of the DC and AD. Molag Bal can be seen in the background manipulating the whole thing.

It could be an epic trilogy where we're left with the three alliance marching into Cyrodiil.

I believe that the same affect will happen to video games if the world of warcraft movie is a success.

Big Screen, no.
I would rather be at home or with people I like than a room full of loud Dragon Knights chewing on skeever meat and drinking carbonated Fredas Night Infusion. And...the farting Nightblades...could not stand that in a movie theatre...SBD.

And video platform would work with me.

Microsoft does own Stream and ZeniMax...????

I love the trailers to each DLC - and watch them on YT occasionally. When they first come out - I watch them over and over!

Would love to see a movie on the lore/gods. Like an trilogy or something.

Not sure how much time and effort ZOS could devote to it. But I would pay Crowns to see it!
