Still disappointed with leveling and questing

Leveling in this game is still Horrid.
Questing... Horrid...
Leveling speed... Horrid...

I want to like this game but i just cant get past the *** leveling in this game.,

Game is awesome. Quests are interesting, lore is fun, exploring is great. What aspect advancement don't you like? You think it takes too long to level or to short? I am quite content with the pace of it and am currently level 19.

IDK. Game came out on the 9th on console? First week I screwed around with different characters and server issues. Following week I settled in on Templar and i'm at 39 now. Don't know if that is fast or slow but I'm happy. Not to mention I'm not paying much attention to lore books and things I find to read so there's much I'm certainly missing out on. Pretty happy here!

Yeah, not sure why the post. Just play another game then.

However, I find the questing from a PVE perspective to be one of the best. Most games I don't even bother with the quest information and just jump into getting whatever needs to be done. At least most of the time I'm interested in what the quest is actually about.

Could not disagree more about the leveling. I for one am really enjoying the pace of leveling in this game. Finding it very gratifying when I finally unlock that next tier for a skill or morph.

If you aren't in Vet Ranks, you've no room to complain about leveling. Leveling 1-50 is a walk in the park and the first few times you do it, its pretty enjoyable. Now, once you have a ton of characters it does become a bit monotonous. Other than that, OP you make no sense man.

TC - can you be a bit more specific? Simply saying you don't like something is an opinion that isn't based on anything and can thus be thoroughly trounced an ignored. Provide some sort of backup.

This is my first MMO (which, as a single player gamer for many years, I haven't even figured out how to use!) but my, what?, 5th ES game and I don't have an issue with the leveling.

What, exactly is your problem or are you just being hateful?

How is it annoying? You literally just explore the map and when you see a black icon on your nav bar or map you head towards it. How else would you want quests?

Then explore more and cover more areas. As for leveling being so slow yes it can be rather slow but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It's less fun if you reach max level too fast and considering this game caps at what lv64 in a nutshell if you consider VR levels? Yeah the slow pace stretches it out and even though the grinding with little reward can be tedious it's better than reaching VR14 in no time at all.

Just coast on through and take it in there is literally no reason to rush to VR14 unless you get your kicks off power trips or just want the PvP alone.

Of course everyone will have a different take on what is the 'right pace' to advance. I have spent a long time (certainly more than I should have!) playing MMOs going back to Ultima Online. There is a fine point between leveling too quickly where there is no feeling of accomplishment and a slow tedious grind that makes you want to pack it in.

As mentioned, for me the balance seems to be pretty good with this. Now at lvl 19 on console I do not know what is in store down the road or what these VR ranks will be like. I read they are horrible... time will tell. I am also a very casual player now, in the summer I spend more time on the golf course than I do in my basement. Having said that, after this game release I am finding excuses to irritate the wife and get 'banished' down there

Don't know what to say, if you are bored with it, you are bored with it. Only you can make that call, maybe it isn't your cup of tea. Try it with a sweetroll, you might like it more!

I think anyone complaining about leveling in ESO should have to play Everquest 1-50 (no expansions) as punishment.

You want to know a real problem with the game? My male toons dance emotes make me look like a girl. I'm in full plate with sword and shield not on a pole in a club! Gimme some Saturday Night Fever darnit!

Quest xp in the vr ranks is suspect to say the least. However, as recently stated in the aua on reddit these will be readjusted. This has been long overdue. Along with public dungeons and other dungeons I believe. Currently at vr its way more efficient to grind mobs for rank/cp than do anything else although pure PvP does give much nicer xp now.

Questing to me seems just fine. I've read lots of complaining about how it's "fetch this" but really , I don't see what that's based off. I can't remember any "fetch" quests. Much less enough to complain about.

Same with levelling. Feels fine to me. I tend to farm mats for crafting most of the day and quest maybe a couple hours worth. Some days more. I've levelled up quite a bit for how I play.

There are definitely a number of fetch quests in the game, but not nearly as many as I've seen in some other games. Overall I'm really happy with the questing in ESO.

And the quests are very repetitive and boring. There is no sense of exploration at all. It's 100% hold your hand themepark. If it wasn't for my guild and the people in it I probably wouldn't even bother with this game anymore. Also where is the content we were promised a year ago?

Are you being sarcastic? Quests in this game are almost literally around every corner. You can't walk 100 ft. in any direction without hitting a new one.
