Question regarding veteran change.

The most appealing aspect of ESO for me is the ability to play through all 3 factions on a single character. After finishing your primary faction and main storyline you can start over and do the entire content of the other 2 factions in whichever order you choose. The zones and content are up scaled to 50 to accommodate.

Please tell me that this is not going to change with the final rollout of the champion system.

And if it is changing please tell me in what way. This is a big concern for me.

Thanks in advance for any information in regards to my inquiry.
Sincerely,
Skoda Zek - Dragonknight

We don't know if its going to change, and what changes will be made. Maybe something has been announced but I have not seen it. If so, it would probably be on the AuA on Reddit.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

The final phase is removal of the Veteran Ranks. As far as seeing the other faction zones, that would mean the 10 zones are scaled to Level 50 rather than being Veteran Rank 1 - 10.
We'd like to imagine it'd be a much more open ended experience, with all post-story content being the same level.

Well, removing vet ranks is what's supposed to happen as the 4th stage in the Champion system.
    As for how/if/when...

    I am ebonheart pact.

When I am lvl 50 and completed main story quest and the ebonheart pact storyline. Will I still be able to go play daggerfall covenant and aldmeri dominion with my same character? Or is that being removed with the veteran system?

That is plainly my chief concern and inquiry.

I'm very surprised that this has not been established yet. For me the loss of the aforementioned system is a deal breaker. I am trying to find out so I do not invest time into ESO if the ability yo play through all 3 faction content on your main character is being removed.

    Ah, I see, sorry.
I doubt there's a worry there but we don't know for sure. It would likely open it up more so you can go anywhere instead of having to follow the Silver/Gold line.

That said, it's not likely to happen soon anyway, the only thing we've heard so far is it seems to be the Imperial City coming next. You'll probably be done before any vet changes are made.

it's going to be very unlikely that they will remove the ability to do cadwells silver and gold.

why remove content when half the community wants more content... it wouldn't make good busniess sense now would it.

They never said anything about removing Cadwell's. On the contrary, they considered opening up all zones after finishing the main story instead of the linear Silver -> Gold progression we have now.

Last word on this from devs was that essentially both other factions would unlock after completing the main quest. You will be free to travel all of Tamriel at that point.
Even if they change their mind and keep it so you unlock one then the other, they will not remove the ability to do it. It provides a lot of content and they would see no benefit in throwing it away. People's issue with vet levels is the time it takes to reach end game, if they reach end game at 50 then the other factions are totally optional so no one has issue with its existance.

They've stated multiple times that Silver and Gold zones will still be available (along with versions of the quest). They will simply cease to be linearly restrictive.

You'll still be able to do all you can do now, you just won't be as obligated to keep the same order.
