Why would it die within the same year it releases on consoles? I'm sure they've sold plenty of copies on release night at $60 or more each, there's over 500,000 active subscribers bringing them millions of dollars each month and their overpriced crown crap sells like hotcakes (I see lionesses everywhere now)....they're not going anywhere soon. I'm sure it won't be long before they release that Orsinium DLC for $30 (speculating).
People keep making these statements with no proof. Now we have gone from consoles sold 2 million boxes yet now have 500k active subs with no proof at all. I love people that do that and actually think anyone can take them seriously.
Must be like 100 people on PC/MAC paying a sub with how they talk about us.

I remember reading some Superdata numbers somewhere that put them in the 500,000-750,000 active subscriber market but who's to say for sure when they won't release their numbers.
I didn't even take a guess at the current sales on new console copies but I'm pretty sure they sold at least 1 million units worldwide, feeding off of Skyrims success of selling more then 20 million units. I just get that vibe online that many people were drawn to ESO because of Skyrim.
