I've been pvp'ing a lot on my templar the last few weeks, and use toppling charge as my opener most of the time, especially if someone is riding by on their horse. I've noticed potentially two bugs with the skill, though #2 may be for gap closers in general.
- If I use toppling charge on someone when they're mounted, and it hits, it doesn't always knock them off their mount. The skill is supposed to stun them, and I've used it 3-4 times before, each hitting and doing dmg, but they're still riding on their mount. It seems like they get knocked off only by the dmg finally draining their horse stamina, and not the stun when this bug happens.
- If I used toppling charge when someone is sprinting on their horse, if the distance between me and them is just right, the skill will go off and I'll gap close, but the skill doesn't hit them and doesn't do any dmg. It seems like they're able to outdistance the gap closer by sprinting in the time it takes for the animation to go off. This might be a bug/situation that can happen for all gap closers, but I don't remember this occuring on my NB's critical charge w/ 2H. I wonder if it's the (absurd) delay the devs insist on keeping in for Toppling Charge that allows this to happen?
Is anyone else experiencing these problems? They've happened enough times over the past few months to me that I really don't think this is a lag thing - especially since it usually occurs out in a field since I'm attacking people on their mounts.
