7 Days later and still can't play on XBOX One!!!!!!

OK. I figured this would all pass and I would FINALLY be able to play. Guess it is not in the cards. Tells me I am next on Que and then it kicks me off. Then I get the load screen which takes forever. When I do get on it still freezes and I experience Lag! Contacted support and they make it sound like it's my internet connection.....It's not. I can play other games on here fine. Of my 15 years of gaming I can honestly say this is the worst launch of any game I have ever played. Get rid of your Megaservers and do seperate ones. Who ever came up with that Idea should be fired. I was only able to play the game last Tuesday for about 2 hours. Since then nothing.

Im wondering if this is tied to the Digital Editions. I have a few friends that bought both the Digitals and the Hard Copies. Only the ones that are still having trouble are the ones with the Digital Editions.

It might be that theres something wrong with the files.

I have the hard copy. As I write I am still on the Load Screen. What has it been 6 minutes? So sad. If I get nothing in 5 minutes I'll go back to playing Destiny.

Why do millions of players NOT have troubles? This is the question you need to ask yourself.

It might be something as simple as your ISP blocking the games servers, even accidentally.

Three things to try:
1/ Change your xbox DNS to googles instead of your ISP:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

2/ Call your ISP and ask if there may be something blocking you. Be sure to let them know that millions of Xbox players are fine and you are not. Let them know you also play other online games (like Destiny) fine. Explain that something is specifically blocking you from ESO servers.

3/ Have them increase your DL/UL speeds on a trial basis. This can be done over the phone and you can go back to lesser plan if it does not work. ESO, for whatever reason, might require higher download/upload speeds than other online games you have been playing.

Honestly, been first day player on practically every MMO of the last decade (WoW, Warhammer Online, Aion, Age of Conan, SWOTR, Champions Online, etc. etc) and ESO for console is definitely, without a doubt, the absolute best launch in my opinion. Obviously I have played practically every day and am level 21 on main, with a few alts to boot. Our experiences have been completely different. I understand why you would be frustrated. I hope this gets resolved for you soon!

Was talking about games I've played. So yes, in my experience this is the worst MMO luanch ever. And I pretty much can say I played way more games then you my friend. You do know there were games before MMOs? Ever hear of Atari or Intellivision? OWNED!

Reading would mean I would need patience to get through everyone's ramblings....This was my first MMO launch and I didn't even feel like it was that bad. I understood that it may had problems and for most part on PS4 it was playable a half a day after its official release.

Yes, all the ESO versions are currently experiencing issues, from PC/Mac, to Xbox One, to PS4. That's a given, and they are working on it. What we don't need is 100 threads opened by you talking about how this "is the worst launch ever." Patience, please!

It's nearly 6:00 PM here in Indiana, and I guarantee you that the devs are probably trying to fix this on either empty stomachs or loss of sleep. And I have reason to believe they are trying to fix this with both problems. I think the engineers deserve a lot more credit than people are giving them.

Do you use wifi? If so then you can try hooking your Xbox directly to your modem. I'm not sure if this will help but it doesn't hurt to try. Also do you quit the game and power cycle the console after experiencing problems? That helps me with some of my issues.

Already tried hardwire and it is not on my end. If it were then I wouldnt be able to play my other games online. Which run smoothly. Also I am not the only one having this problem.

Day 1, for 2 hours... and you somehow think it isn't on your end. Have you tried the EU server? I mean really man, you need to be proactive in life because just sitting there, waiting for something to fix itself, and then complaining about it while taking no action to fix it, seems a whole lot like trolling to me.

It is very much a possibility that you can play all your other games online and have no issues but have issues with eso, or any other random online game, and it be the fault of your ISP. Not all games use the exact same channels and what not through your router. If I were you and wanted to play so bad I'd be doing everything possible to fix the issue. At this point it seems you need to try what has already been suggested and see what can be done with your ISP. If it doesn't help well then you KNOW FOR SURE. Don't just complain and think everything will be better. TRY to do something.

Dude I am serious! Has nothing to do with my System or internet. Explain to me how I am able to play my other games and not this one? I am not the only one having this problem. I have logged on everyday and still no connection. It is not Trolling when something is happening for real. As far as proactive, I am probably more active then you. Let's not get into that though. I play on Xbox 1 and have the digital copy. I did experience some "bad"service but hey "Launch week", so I played on. About 3 days ago the q's and load screens were going a bit faster. 2 days ago the q's and long load screen were once every now and then. Yesterday and today I've had no issues whatsoever.

Not any login problems, no server connection problem.

I have logged on everyday, and played. So no it's not everyone and if it was then why is the Xbox server so crowded in cities?

If other people can log on every day since launch and you can't, what's that tell you? It should tell you that it's not all eso' problem, most is your networks

Update:

After last post I made I turned off Xbox. Turned back on and restarted eso completely fresh. Pressed A to log in.....what's this? No q? No long load screen? It went straight to select character? Hmmm I guess that means...that the NA server on Xbox 1 is completely fine.

Took no longer than 20 seconds to load character.

You're missing an ending quote bracket. I got lost. However, other than a few kicks here and there, the majority of people have had no issues with this game on console since the second or third day. Sounds like you're just special.

If he's saying he gets to load screen but not past, then that DEFINITELY sounds like your internet or ISP has trouble connecting to the server to load the game.

As someone said before, just because you can play other online games doesn't mean they're all the same. I doubt very much so that destiny has half the content of eso to load.
