It looks like (from the forums at least) not many people actually did take advantage of the transfer to console, which is good in some sense because there is going to be major QQíng from console users. Can you imagine the first time a level 10 console player comes to cyrodiil and meets a player that has had over 12mths experience behind them, dropped and crafted gear plus 100+ CP?
The QQíng will be real.
P.S. Can I just say, I'm married, with kids, a full time job, and many, many other interests outside ESO and yet I still managed to set aside some time to make sure I didn't miss out on the transfer. Life being busy isn't an excuse I can use with my boss, my wife or anyone really.
The me generation needs to look at themselves.

Just like the limitation on the console transfer period when we were told the transfer will be available when the game releases. I wonder if those who made the decisions regarding all of the console transfer project are being pulled into a side room to have a chat. If FFXIV could doe it flawlessly, why can't ZeniMax...heck FFXIV is even x-platform.

They acknowledge that not receiving the email was an error on their part but told me it's literally impossible to transfer my character now. Don't lie to your players I know it's not impossible, you just don't want to take the time and effort to correct your mistakes. Thanks for nothing

Upon release of console versions, you can transfer. YOU can transfer. You can start playing on the console because your characters are there.
That does not mean that you can ask them to have your characters transferred on that day. All characters are transferred all at once.
If you misunderstood the offer, perhaps they weren't clear enough. But they didn't violated the terms.

How come I think I will never hear from this guy and get a link to what he just said. He created a rumor that isn't true yet people will believe it. Also can't see any one working for ZoS say it was their fault for the person not getting the email. You guys either checked the box for updates or you didn't.

I don't have a link unless you want me to screenshot my personal, private email. My situation was an abnormality where there was a glitch in their mailing system and I never got the transfer email. I'm not starting a rumor, this situation was specific to me and probably isn't the case for everyone.

Well I am sorry you missed it BUT.... (and its a Big One)
I didn't miss it, I wasn't even gonna go to Console (PS4) but I decided that $20 was not too much money and I decided to do it just in case I wanted play on Console with My Console friends and I was aware of the Cutoff date, I made sure I knew of it, and I have been with the game since early access day one.. I made sure I got mine transferred, as in, I took responsibility to make sure It happened...
BUT you did not...
My advise to you is if it was Sooo important to you then you should have made Sure you knew When it was gonna happen and Where you had to go to pay and What the cutoff date was for the "PC to Console Transfer", then you would have made sure you paid the money and got it done.
It is now time to grow a little and act like an adult and take responsibility for your actions or Lack thereof instead of crying about it, you did not follow through and so now you do not get the Transfer or the Loyalty items that go with it.
Next time you will be more aware and you will get it done if something is so important to you now, wont you...
And I am sorry if this offends some people, but I am sick and tired of people crying and whining when it was their responsibility to take advantage of the offer ZOS was giving them. You want something...be responsible and do it..

Sure there is, I and many others followed the rules ZOS set up for us so we could get our Characters and such transfered and we then followed those rules and then paid for it and now we have it.
Now your just acting badly, I am sorry you had RL issues, but that is not ZOS's fault or especially ours, that was yours to contend with..and though I might feel sorry for you, when you start acting like you are entitled to it, that just makes me mad.
Let me give you a really good example, I only did the PC Console transfer to the PS4, I did not do it for the Xbox one, now if one of my friends was like "I'm going to the Xbone, you coming.."
I would be like, nope because I didn't purchase it when I had the chance, I did not take the responsibility to get my characters and loyalty rewards and such to be transfered to that console. I would be disappointed and sad but I know that the responsibility laid on my shoulders to do it, not someone else's or ZOS's fault and so that is the choices we make in life.
Do I feel entitled that I earned it, not on the Xbox One.
Like I said before, Take Responsibility for your actions and stop laying blame, because the blame is all on you.
