Obviously everyone has their own definition of what P2W is. Mine is that if someone can pay real money and get stronger faster than me, it is P2W. The XP pots qualify. I don't care if all MMOs do it. I don't like it when they do it either.
Another reason to not return to the game. I keep holding this unrealistic hope that ESO will become the game they first advertised two years, which is why I keep wandering back to these forums.
Your definition is wrong. Even then, these aren't on the crown store as of now, so it's also irrelevant. Once they are, then maybe, but considering these are available ingame, they are not pay to win in the slightest.

in crownstore you can buy the pots instant and farm.........make the pots ingame costs ingametime(gold or craft)so the boost is worthless....

I am done arguing this. Your views on things are clearly as skewed as they can be, so I'm just going to back out right now and let you rave on and on about how this game is going to the P2W dogs.
THANK YOU! I can't see why people don't understand this. I see people making so many "P2W" posts and the closest thing to P2W in this game is Imperial, and perhaps not even then.
Because the people making these p2w posts have never played a REAL p2w game before, thats why.

Oh man, ofcourse it is P2W. The DROPRATE of those materials is 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

I don't see how an xp booster is considered pay 2 win, all it does is help people level faster. What am I winning by reaching VR14 faster than someone else?
this.
its an xp pot. so? The only thing I'm mad about is that it wasn't available when i was grinding my second toon to vet levels.

Exactly. Its a hot button term that people know will get responses and send people blindly into rages without ever stopping to assess what is being coined P2W.
This thread is a prime example of this.
Well this thread was surely dumb, I don't think he's even noticed how its not pay to win yet lols
The OP obviously doesn't know what he is talking about. This thread should be locked.
There is gong to be a Crown Store version of the XP drink, but this still does not make it pay to win by my standards.
If anything it just brings the xp grind down to where it should have been in the first place. Pay to win would be if you only could buy something like this in the Crown Store and even then it is more pay for convenience.

Cause What I'm seeing is either buy a factory product which is the easiest option or make it home made which is harder but worth it. That is honestly how I see the crown store is just a factory so to speak cause most of the stuff in there we can either get such as motifs or make such as the food and potions. Only thing really crown only are the mounts and costumes and they don't effect game play at all.

It's silly to say this game has went P2W. Even if these went to the crown store, it would only benefit lazies with money to burn. And these drinks can be bought in guild stores once they start being made. Just relax and either earn stuff or buy what you don't want to make. CPs are easy to get if you put the time and effort into them.

without champion system there would be no P2W only get faster V14 which not is a big deal but deal mor dmg cause saving time is clear P2W

The entire point of the store is convenience, XP pots are like that. You can spend the time make them yourself or if you dont want to be bothered you can buy them for crowns. Thats convenience. Also when you make the pots in game you get more of them so they can last longer than purchasing them. All you have to do is max out provisioning. Which is a simple thing to do btw.

A legitimate attempt at what? Instead of adjusting their game, they add something to make even more money...

why you defend P2W or you hope it's not P2W?
there a n extra resource for the pots so its all controlled by zos and not the free market and it will be the most expensive pots
again they will be senseless if you have to spend ingametime for them to get

They may remove VR ranks like it's been rumored. Also they can't please everyone.....if someone is lazy enough to actually buy any of the crown store food or drinks maybe they need the boost ;D they may not be very bright since the crafted items do more and don't cost real money

•Taken together, someone who is both a fully-ranked Brewer and Connoisseur creating Psijic Ambrosia for their own use will get a total of three hours and twenty minutes of Experience boost from a single crafting of the recipe.
Crafted ones only last longer for those craft for their own use, not purchased off the guild traders or given to by a friend/guildie.
