You do not put weapons on your quick slot. The quick slot is used for food, potions, siege weapons and cyroiil repair kits.

Weapon swap is different, you get a second ability bar at level 15. When you are level 15 go into the menu to edit your ability bar, and there will be a key to weapon swap, which is where you would add you second weapon and abilities. On PS4 I believe it is triangle.

Once you have set up your second bar, you will be able to swap to that bar (which can have a different weapon) in battle. This is a different key.. But I don't remember which one...

once you hit lvl 15 you will have access to weapon swapping, once you hit 15 and want to weapon swap

1. open your start menu and go to "inventory"

2. then you will see a tab that says main hand, that is your main hand weapon

3. right under that you will see "off main hand" this is your weapon swap

4. once you select a weapon for your weapon swap you then want to do your abilities go back and go to your skills

5. once at your skill you will want to press "Y" or "X" depending on your console and there will be your weapon swap abilities bar

and treasure maps/ crafting surveys!! who wants to go all the way into their inventory to find a map?? lol no one so quickslot it. this is an mmmo, not Oblivion,lol quick slots are meant for most consumables items!
