VR Leveling Help

wolverine4545
Hey all,

I am currently VR5 (PC to PS4 transfer). I remember shelving this game partly due to the grind and partly due to real life stuff. Now that I am back I am finding it difficult to level and everything I find online is outdated it seems.

My question to you is what is currently the most effective way to level VRs? I am not opposed to grinding as that is what I would prefer. I know to do caldwells/bosses/dolmens as well. Currently only 30% into VR5 with only missing 14 total quests in the VR1-5 zones, and the VR Bosses/Dolmens (There is no one in VR5 content that I have seen on PS4 to help with these). Playing a Sorc, if anyone has any tips/advice.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your time helping me.

Cheers.

If you don't mind grinding why not see if you can find a group in Craglorn, it might be more populated.

Also I believe that some of the Delves in Cyrodiil are considered to be the most efficient grind spots atm. :)
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

Play through Cadwell's silver / gold and you'll hit VR 10+ sort of thing. It's slower compared to outright grinding, but you'll have a more immersive experience, plus skyshards, plus achievements, plus a nice white map.

Alternatively, find a good delve in Cyrodiil and spend a week mindlessly grinding while watching a TV series or something, whatever works.

This is exactly my situation. I've just completed Cadwell's Gold on my Templar, along with all the side quests along the way. All maps are now 'white' and I have all the quest and zone completion achievements. But my character is only VR10, about half way to VR11.

So what next? Are the choices for VR10-14 only Craglorn, Cyrodiil or grinding VR10 mobs?

Seems such a deeply broken game design to complete Cadwell's and every side quest along the way and still be four VR levels short of max.

Initially the VR cap was 10 and Cadwell hit that mark completely. Craglorn was introduced and had enough content to hit VR12, or so, without grinding. The last few ranks will, unfortunately, require a degree of grinding..Which is fine and can be done via daily quests, trials and other 'endgame' content.

Basically I got from 1-50 via my faction, VR1-10 via the remaining two factions, VR10-11 via completing all of the Cyrodiil achievements, VR11-12/13 via Craglorn questing/achievements and the last remaining rank was gained farming collectibles. This has been true for my Templar / DK alts and once I come back will be the way I max my NB.. At the end of it all you have all the skyshards in the game, all of your spells leveled and morphed, all of the non-bugged areas unlocked and white, around 10k+ achievement points and you have a decent understand of your class.
