I can tell you that as a very rich player i did buy the xbox transfer just in case, but i have no intentions of controlling the economy. I did enough of that on pc and dont even visit tradestores any more than 10 mins a week now.

It is much more fun to make millions of gold flipping stuff you buy cheap and sell expensive when you have no gold. I guess 100 k would start you off doing that fine. Just double and double.

After a while it becomes boring as hell, i rather spend my time doing some pvp (on pc atm)

Did a few of 1vXX yesterday, I felt guilty and stopped.
Found more and more v14 shows up today and I only kill vet player now, and I run from the non vet players.

Solution.... don't join veteran pvp unless you are a vet.

Why anyone without a transferred hero would join any campaign except BwB is really baffling.

Not nearly the same thing. Not even close. The enemy blobs on the PC server have the gear, character skills, and experience to actually fight back and they use the same tactics.

But who seriously didn't see this coming? I mean ZOS had to know good players were going to transfer and just roflstomp hordes of newbies. People have been talking about this since they announced the console transfer something like ~1 year ago.

I guess they did it just to boost the console numbers at launch. Sypher certainly isn't the only one doing this (or going to do this), he just happened to post a video of it. ZOS is where any frustration should be directed, they are the ones who chose to allow this (probably permanently skewing the balance in PVP between transfers and fresh accounts). The amount of AP/XP you could farm right now with a small group of transfers is probably crazy.

No. You can play and level a new character with all the new players for a while until the fights get more even for everybody. Or you can just go there and 2shot people with your vr14. It is your own decision and I cannot blame you for it. Lot of people who play video games enjoy easy fights without any challenge. I am NOT one of those.

Zenimax should have released veteran only campaigns and non vet campaigns in the first place.

No, they weren't (and many of us including myself did it 100% normally, even though a lot did abuse terrain exploits in that ever-popular dungeon to get VR10 easily

The set bonuses back then were not anywhere near as over the top powerful as they are now that you could get at VR10 vs VR1, VR5, etc. It was an entirely different ballgame compared to transferring in a VR14 day 1 with high-end PVP sets (which virtually no one knew existed even though I tried spreading the word in-game) and Trials gear, Undaunted gear and passives, etc. (these last few that weren't even in the game) combined with Champion System passives for 20-30%+ damage effectiveness overall.... and slap that against hordes of brand new console players at level 10-20 in the first hours of the game's launch over there? I had a similar moment on the PC version shortly a bit after the release of 1.6 and I can't say I enjoyed killing 30 terrible new players who couldn't PvP at all. They just stood there eating overload after overload until none were left. It was just wasn't fun and it wasn't PvP. It's like being in the top Starcraft multiplayer ranks and getting matched up against a guy who has never played multiplayer before.

I don't think Sypher did anything dishonorable by posting it, my only thing is we *all* knew this was going to be the case so why transfer to the console anyways? Fighting hordes of bads is great for farming AP, but not very fun personally. I guess we all have our reasons...if anything hopefully those players getting stomped will learn faster than the rest of us did and provide a challenge soon...if they don't quit outright.

Maybe they want to play with their friends who are already vets. But, any subvet who enters a vet campaign has got to "not expect amazing success."

Basically, what should've been considered during design was (is?) power gaps due to level and CP differentials. At the very least there should be:

- Nonvet campaign, CPs disabled
- VR1 through VR13 campaign
- VR14 only campaign

Remove the guest campaign concept, and only require a home campaign, PvP buffs to apply *only* in your home campaign, no where else. Also, the horse riding simulator needs to be nerfed so more fun can be had, quicker, across the board-- possibly via modified FCs or a shrunken map.

edit: changed vet campaign ranges because I think VR14s should play against other VR14s only. Even then there'll be a gear and CP gap, but it'd be far better than the current state.

Ok. I have had the, some times painful pleasure of playing against Sypher for well over a year now. The kid is good, you can agree or not but the facts stand. He's a killer theory crafter, a top notch player and a great challange to take on. Those who say other wise are just salty.

He already said in the video ZoS made a mistake, and he's made the statement here that he plans to make a new account so leave it.

Idk. I think people will be caught up by next week. Alot of the new players are learning fast from the vets. Its def a little lopsided right now, but it will never be like this again.

Also playing with such a huge population around the clock has been awesome.
