I deleted 3 characters last night. I assumed that all 3 deletes would be restored tonight. However, I only have one delete available.

✭You're thinking about it the wrong way. 24 hours to restore 1 character regardless of how many you deleted.
An example:
You delete 3 characters on 6/12
You are granted 1 delete on 6/13
You delete another character on 6/13
You are granted 1 delete on 6/14
Approximately 24 hours without deleting a character will grant you one more delete with a maximum of 3. If you delete another character then the delete timer restarts regardless of the previously deleted.1 -

✭✭You start with three available deletion slots. Every time you delete a character, one slot gets used up. One slot will be available again after a period of 24 hours without further deletions, the next one 24 hours after that, etc. So, if you delete three characters in rapid succession, you can delete another one after 24 hours, but you'll have to wait for 72 hours for all three slots to be available again.
This measure was introduced back in the day as a part of a bigger battle strategy against real money traders and their collectors/bots. It has been super effective by all means.

Delete one now. In 24 hours you can delete another. Countdown starts when you delete the one you have now. It will take 48 hours to get rid of those three characters if you delete one now, one in 24 hours and the last of the three in 48.
