Try asking friends or guildies, or in zone, that is what most do.

It's intresting. Players have been telling them that it's going to be a disaster if they don't fix the group tool for console when they can't text chat. They didn't fix it, and have almost never mentioned it.
However yesterday on the reddit Q&A thing they said they're working on fixing it for the consol.Src: reddit.com/r/xboxone/comments/39gv5r/the_elder_scroll_online_tamriel_unlimited_team/cs3c145We have some fixes going in with the next console patch which should help mitigate the issues you are seeing, and we are continuing to look at ways to improve the experience and functionality of the group finder.

Someone said in another thread that ZOS are just trying to cash out, and I'm wondering if it could be true...

I think the money they don't spend on ESO they spend on a new future mmorpg. You have to wonder how they will sell that game considering how things are going here.
When it comes to the game, they have obviously been waiting for the console release and holding content back.
I think part of their problem is how they originally built up the itemization in the game. Through the crafting system you can take any green or white item and craft it up to the best item in the game, except for accesories.
In TSW they had a similar system, which was nice to casual players as they could get nice stuff, but they made 100% sure that ANYTHING dropping in a hardmode dungeon was better than a crafted item.
Because of the complexity in the system it's hard for the devs to make dungeon items that are any good. If they nerf a specific item, players will just go to the second best item and it's status quo.
Obviously when a random item obtained from a sewer rat is better than a mighty sword from a demi god, then you have a problem. Players will not do dungeons, and they quickly complain there is no content etc.
I asked about itemization in the reddit QA yesterday, and what I read from the anwear is that they're completly reworking how the items work in the next zone. So that dungeon items are going to be better, without disrupting the game.
We'll see how that turns out, but when they essentially have to start itemization from scratch is when things start to take time to develop. If they had just done certain things like crafting and item stats simpler from the start they wouldnd have to do all that work.
The same thing with Blacksmithing, to add a new trait they basicly need to add a new physical area in the game, then design the trait with all the effects and balance it. That's a lot of work compared to some other games, and prevents them from adding crafting content quickly.
This is already way off topic, but let me just say I disagree looted items should always be better than crafted. For me the perfect system would have crafted items requiring rare drops from end-game content at the top. But the problems right now go far beyond that. Many sets, both dropped and crafted, seem to have had their bonuses cooked up by a 3-year-old. There is no way anyone would wear them given the choice. Just look at the 9-trait sets and tell me how many people you know use then.
