If she sits by her sewing machine ignoring everything around her for hours on end, sewing completely useless things and spending so much time and energy on her sewing hobby than other parts of her life are neglected, then yes. If not, no. If she actually felt she had to cut your game controller cord to get your attention, you owe her an apology and a change of your priorities, not a retaliation.

I am not sure there is any suggestion she did it intentionally. I managed to cut the cord on our headset once by running over it with an office chair after accidentally knocking it off the desk.

This. Internet forums have a tendency to respond with "Apples are red" when you ask "What color is the sky?"
A reasonable human would read the OP and sense a deal of sarcasm, along with the indication the cord cutting was accidental when I wrote "somehow managed."

The point of the thread was to promote fun and a few laughs, not to be taken seriously to the point of
    - marriage counseling
    - divorce
    - playing too much (Because dedicating about 4 hours a week to my hobby of ESO is certainly "too much")

I tend to forget how many door knob personalities are out there.

Then again, you should've known that this type of thread would promote sexist statements along with those that you mentioned above. Hardly surprising.

Clearly there are some very jaded ppl out there lol like this guy for example:
Grind up some crayons and put it in her food. It's very difficult to realize one is being poisoned that way.
Holy $#!t that's morbid man, simmer down now simmer down. You may want to look into counseling....

Learn to solder? Wonderful skill, it lets you fix shorting cables, fix cut cables, and much more. Really it should be a common skill like changing a tire.
And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.
