Maybe they're doing it the same way some other games do where all copies registered before a certain date get the pre-order bonus and all copies registered after that don't.

That would avoid some of the issues the PC version had like people removing the Explorer's pack codes to sell separately and people like me buying it a year after release and just happening to get a pre-release box with the code still in it.

Either way good to know. I guess I should now go and correct all the posts I've made over the last few hours telling people to check for a separate code.

(I've also heard some people say they had to get 1 character through the Wailing Prison before the bonuses unlocked and they were able to use the Any Race in Any Alliance or Imperial Race upgrades, but I'm not sure if that's a bug or intended.)
