I am so,so annoyed by this fact it is such utter nonsense !. start sending out the dam codes so that we get started downloading so we can actualy manage to play at our launch time here at midnight in england, i have 80mbps download and 20upload so i wont have a problem getting 60gb fast, but i think and speak out for the rest of england and europe who have slow download speed who should have been given the dam codes days ago and at very least early today on the 8th.

You dont like to answer people who have honest words though do you zenimax ?, we want a dam answer we backed this game on pc and just want our codes it is not all just about america the whole dam time.

Just take a deep breath, go get some sleep, play a little Witcher, prepare some snacks, have a shower (last one you might get for days) and let your loved ones know you will see them in a month or so.

Codes will arrive when they arrive, game will download when it is ready to do so. You can't make it happen any faster by getting stressed about it.

Very good advice, thanks for telling me :P. when i am on my own i can get too fixated on silly things. too much time on my hands until i get better and go back to work. saying better is quite funny to me as i have a condition that i can never get rid off, i just have to live with bipolar and get on with life.

Kinda silly the way people act over a launch day. You aren't gonna win the game the first day. It isn't a 100 yard dash it is a marathon. One week in and you wont remember whether you got in at exactly midnight or sometime the following day. Its a fun game and worth the wait. They haven't lied to you. They haven't misled you. The time is finally here and its a good thing. They can finally get back to releasing content.

I doubt that ZeniMax is deliberately withholding the keys, so I can't really get upset about it.

My guess is that all of this has something to do with the terms of the contract with Microsoft or Sony, or both. ZeniMax has to hand out keys for licenses associated with the transfer that bypass the normal pre-order structure, a deal which is likely stipulated in the contract. I will hazard a guess saying that they cannot actually make the keys until the game releases. It is possible that the quantity of these keys is part of the contract, which could explain the limited purchasing window in April.

Anyway, this "midnight local time" thing means that the game actually releases today, June 8, 2015, at 8 am EDT. That might be the time that ZeniMax can actually start making these keys for distribution.

On May 8 I bought the Account Copy for PS4, my wife did the same. After the purchase, on the billing history link on my account page, it shows the purchase for $20.00. My wife's does as well.

So I received my email on May 8 stating:

ESOTU Imperial Edition for PS4 with account copy

Your PC/Mac account for The Elder Scrolls® Online: Tamriel Unlimited™ will be transferred to the PlayStation®4. Your characters (in the same state), items (equipped to characters, in the inventory, and in the bank) will be copied at the time of the transfer. Please note that once the account copy is complete, any further character progress will not be shared between the PC/Mac and PlayStation®4. You will be sent an email confirmation once the copy has been completed.

Please note the following aspects of a game account are not included with the transfer: in-game mail, guilds, friends list, ignore list, Trial leaderboard status, AvA leaderboard status, and crown balance.

Then I received an email on May 21 stating:

We will be sending your digital code for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on June 8th. We understand the desire to download the game on your console of choice earlier. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a code to pre-load due to console limitations.

Why am I writing all this?

Even though both my wife and I show the purchase under our separate billing history links, I am the only one who received these emails, she has not. And yes, after countless emails over the past month to ESO Support, we have checked her spam folder and everything. We have kept all known email addresses from ESO and ESO Support from being swept away in filters...still nothing.

We are worried she will not receive the game code either, with no ability to pre load, and perhaps days of waiting after launch because the only answer we get from ESO Support is "I'm sure everything will be fine, we see the purchase and account rights to the copy in our system and on your account"....

Any rays of hope out there? Has this happened to others out there?

There is a code listed there. I entered it and MS states I have added the Imperial Edition to my account.... Not at home so don't know if it is Downloading...

UPDATE: Just ran home and it is downloading

So at least for Xbox Live transfers the code has been listed since we purchased it and it has been listed in our billing history...

I see a code on my account page that would work for ps4 and is by my ps4 purchase, but when I put in the code, I get "The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid". I checked over the code many times to make sure it is right but it just isn't working for me.

This works i am downloading now do steps below

.

Here's what do do:

1. Log in to your account at http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/.
2. Go to Billing History.
3. Look for 'ESOTU Imperial Edition for PS4 with account copy'. Your code is under that.
4. Go to your Palyststion store and click Enter a Code.
5. Put the code under 'ESOTU Imperial Edition for PS4 with account copy' into the box.

Bingo! It works.

ZOS, I think that you owe me a commission for writing your email for you.

There was a 12 digit code and mine is downloading right now as we speak.
