Would you like an ESO miniature figure?

A while back, I used HeroForge to make an approximation of my character in ESO.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out but it would be really great if we had something similar to FigurePrints for ESO

Personally, I think ESO and Heroforge could benefit from a partnership. I think allowing us to upload characters to HeroForge from the character selection screen and then posing that character in HeroForge would be a quick and easy way to accomplish what WOW is doing with FigurePrints. I would suggest ESO try to team up with FigurePrints but I'm not sure if they would print the detail that would do ESO characters justice.

What do you think, would you like the option to have your ESO character 3D printed?

Dude, yeah that's awesome. First of all, it won't change anything about the game, which leaves the reason out why someone should complain bout it. Second, if you don't want to buy, who cares.

And my thought is just add an "export" function to ESO... then have the Heroforge guys do the rest!

In the crown store a new special tab is there after Zenimax and Heroforge form an agreement.
By clicking purchase it snap shots your character and sends it off to be to made.
On the screen it has before buying it.

Takes 2 to 4 weeks and will be delivered to your address contected to your account.

Then as you go to pay with crowns it will say please verify your address and phone number.

Then boom you just made it quick and easy for all three sides.

It would work for all
-ZeniMax takes a cut
-Heroforge gains alot more business
- we get a beautiful statue of our character

a new profit line for zenimax that does not affect in game in any meaningful way.

Simple and profitable new business side for zenimax while the devs focus on new content.

You can take away the "beard" parts...

You an even make Ohmes-Rhat looking Khajiit... ZOS should take note of some of the "build" design of their program.

LOL. Hero... Now you make me want to design a "Heroforge Export" for ESO. Allowing players to pose their characters IN GAME and then just send that model off to be made.

Honestly, they likely wouldn't even need Heroforge for that. Heroforge gets their stuff printed by Shapeways... something I didn't know when I ordered my little figure. hehe. I'll take a pic of the actual unpainted figure and post on here later.

Then they cut the middle man and offer outside merchandise via the crown store.
It would then expand the market and make them a good profit as well as cleaning out alot of built up crowns before dlc from subs that then would further increase profit.

Best thing is again it does not affect the game play like some of the crown items do lol.

#ImperialMasterRace

Only for $32 each, they're 6.5" tall, fully painted and superarticulated.
The only bad thing we have to wait until March 2016 (or possibly later) for them.

But, hey, it's ESO. Waiting is a feature working as intended.

Looking at their store, I would absolutely love it if they would team up with ZOS to offer a line of toys... but they wouldn't be YOUR character, just an approximation of your character.

when i was a kid i tried to collect Kenner's Star Wars figures; i only managed to collect 16 of them, because they were very expensive..

years after, i managed to buy some old ones; i always liked them very much, especially the old ones from the 70-ies and 80-ies because of their more decent posture and overall more loveliness.

there are some nice figures from the 90-ties and 2000+ too though... Padme Amidala's face looks very beautiful.. also Jar Jar Bings... i like very much the datails... I would like to buy a few more actually of the newer series ..

now, that you are introducing this new post about minifigures, a thought came into my mind:

what, if you could order your very personal minifgure that looks exactly like the one you created on ESO, with same dyeing and all? if you could have the toon as minifigure..... maybe with a High-tech- 3-D-printer , there could be this possiblity!

that would be awesome, i think...and another way for ZOS to earn money via merchandise...

maybe it's possible..

I would love it if we could get custom action figures @Xandryah ... but I would be happy if ZOS to allowed us to export of a model of our character so we can do various things with them outside of game. Mostly... print them in 3D, of course.

I don't know how or where this could be added. My thought was it could be added to either

The Barbershop
The Character Selection

Either way, we should be able to do various things this exporter like:

Emote
Pose with attacks/dodges/rolls/guards/ etc.

Heck, they could even add an "Exporter/poser" program in the launcher.

No matter HOW we get to be able to do it, I want to print my characters!

Very cool! I would get all my characters done if the option was available.
Even just a 3D mesh output in a compatible format (like STEP for example) would be so awesome... I could print my own at the work 3D printer!
