Unless the trailer was showcasing the WiiU release?

To be fair, Fallout games have always relied more on the awesome quests and the storyline rather than having the best graphics. Plus, that is a trailer, who knows what the game will actually look like on a decent system...not to mention there will be a ton of mods for the graphics just like there always are for single-player games nowadays.

The trailer doesnt look stunning but its only an early teaser, it will probably look a lot better when the game is out of the Alpha stage and gets the finishing touches.

And even if it looked like Fallout: New Vegas I would happily play it, the setting and story are enough to make this game awesome!

Huh, its usually the other way around isnt it? A great cinematic trailer which looks beautiful and in-game graphics that are a let down.

Was it confirmed already its made by Bethesda? That means we aint getting ES6 in any time soon. ES6 is like 2020...

They would shoot themself a arrow in the knee if they gona releas es6, just saying

Why? ES6 has maybe 100 hour of content, then some modders play it longer. 5 year is long way for ESO to walk alone. One reason Im here is that I believe in single playing and MMO bundling, I'd love to see how this works out. Project Coppernicus was meant to try it couple year back but it failed and was cancelled.

Well in general... "...the final game will work and is awesome/beautiful..." and what a let down it actually will be. Heard and seen so many times. Personally this time I'm not going to be the one beta testing and reporting all the issues at launch having paid in advance to do so. I'll wait a bit and then get the bit more ironed game for my enjoyment.

It will be the same engine with some improvements i guess, they hope (well they know) there are some moders witch will mod the last Quantum of possibilits out of the engine with 4k textures and new animations

One does not play Fallout for graphics...

I know this, i also Play Reto games or indi games becaus of the gameplay, but if i have the possibilty to mod a game with 4k textures and realistic animations, i do so.

i dont set up a Monster rig to Play vanilla games and 16bit games

    First impressions:
    • That trailer kinda sucks...
    • More disturbing human obsession with dogs, even while our own interpersonal communication is becoming a lost art and our society is crumbling into an isolated post-modern wasteland. Perhaps we are destined to devolve into lower beasts when the robots take over? Or perhaps it is simply the last vestige of our white-picket-fence delusions of material status-based superiority over our fellow Jones'?
    • I missed the old phonographs!
    • Why doesn't radiation ever lead to spontaneous GOOD mutations? Must every post-apocalypse denizen be a psychotic shopping-cart-hurling man-beast? Where are the radioactive unicorn mutants with special mind powers? :p
    • Nuclear bombs are almost becoming obsolete. Perhaps because not even shopping-cart-hurling mutants could survive a biotech war.
    • Needs more cheese dip.

I like the graphics, it definitely has that retro vibe, what Fallout should have. Its not perfect but its ok, no doubt good game but I definitely think they dont beat New Vegas.

Back on topic, I dont think they should mix Fallout and ES series.

As I am sure you're all aware by now FALLOUT 4 IS COMING! There isn't much to be said about it here on the ESO forums but one request/suggestion.

I would like to see a Fallout 4 preorder bonus of an ESO vanity pet. Nothing lore breaking of course, no deathclaws or Brahmin mount. But a pet mole rat or a Dogmeat look alike would be really cool.

Hey, IIRC, didn't someone do some asset mining a while back looking for future Crown Store stuff and find a dog that looked a lot like a German Shepard? I seem to remember that. Maybe that's not a coincidence.

Yeah, I was actually surprised at how bad it looked. Granted, Fallout games have never been the best looking. But that really looked like an old 360 game, not a modern one. The main character looked like his clothes and hair were painted on.

TES VI doesn't exist, but that aside, what? 100 hours? I don't know how people come up with these numbers. At the 100 hour mark I was halfway through my first Skyrim playthrough - first of many, I might add. And I didn't even use content mods or major overhauls back then, just quality of life improvements like SkyUI. There's a whole community of console players spending 500+ hours in the game.

I'm not suggesting that ESO and fallout mix. But I think a few minor references here and there could be fun. I already stated nothing lore breaking so no pip boys, cars, guns etc. Just a Dogmeat pet or a mole rat or a rad roach. Something small yet noticeable so I can identify other Apocalypse survivors to know who to team with when the Land fall happens.....
    I want spell crafting.

Dead Space had a Mass Effect armor so you never know.

I'm really looking forward to Fallout 4! And if there was a pet related to it available in eso I would definitely get it.
And Mass Effect had Dragon Age armor.

Anyway, I'd also love to see a Dogmeat style dog.
    That's neither here nor there.
Both Mass Effect and Dragon Age are made by Bioware. My point was that Shepard armor makes an appearance in Dead Space which is Visceral as in NOT Bioware but still under EA. SO its not completely impossible to see something from a Bethesda game appear in ESO or vice versa

The Dead Space point is a good one.

Bethesda owns the IP for both. They could let Zenimax include something if they wanted to. Not a problem.

A Mister Gutsy pet would be both the first crown store item I would consider buying and the first pet I would consider using. Lore, shmore...

The Fallout 4 trailer was great because it was confirmation of a new Fallout game. They could roll out the same engine with better textures and I would already be happy so long as the story is fun and the Boston/Cambridge geography is relatively accurate.

I suspect it's the ID5 engine, which has already proven itself with Rage, albeit the game was a classless and lootless Borderlands lookalike, but DAT engine was awesome, vehicle and x64 support not like the old gamebryo.

    Prediction - Fallout 4 Release date : 1 Nov 2015 for 1/11/2015 in reference to Vault 111
FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Balance is a "Bad" thing.
