Also Bethesda doesn't make this game, Zenimax Studios does so if/when Bethesda introduces Fallout 4 it won't change much.

It will certainly change the amount of stage time that ESO gets at the big press conference on the 14th. If Bethesda spends all their time on Fallout 4, ESO and the console release could get shortchanged. And they really need the PR right now, desperately.

    Bethesda Press Conference:

    Fallout 4!
    Doom!
    Dishonoured 2!

Oh, and ... Elder Scrolls Online is getting some ..... something. Goodnight folks!

Though I really do hope that they get some time to announce things. That would be so very nice. Support of Bethesda and some of their stage time would really help.

Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

If I had to guess I would guess that Bethesda and Zenimax Studios will have separate areas since, even though being owned by the same parent company, aren't the same company. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they join up together for some major ZOS announcement/surprise but overall the two companies are separate.

No they're not really separate. The PR guy behind the press conference is Pete Hines. He does PR for both Bethesda and ZOS. The press conference will almost certainly include ESO as well as Fallout and Doom news. It's just a question of how much time will be allotted to each.

    True.

I expect ESO to get a short bit of time in the presentation, but I also expect it to get floor space, so it should get some coverage from that as well..

Everyone in the gaming press is going to be at that press conference. If Fallout 4 can help ESO get some love then I'm good with that. I just hope they don't treat ESO as an afterthought.

I don't think anyone is expecting ESO to get much attention at E3. Bethesda Softworks has a lot of stuff to talk about, not the least of which is Fallout 4, which will take center stage. They will probably talk about BattleCry, too. They have a ton of titles that they can make sequels to and I am sure we will find out which ones are coming up soon. There will be something at E3 of interest for ESO players, but probably not major revelations.

ZOS is awful quiet right now. That is suspicious and might indicate they are waiting for E3 to say something. The last time they were this quiet, they announced B2P. I am not saying that anything BAD is in the wings, but it could be something fairly big.

Fallout Online? It will be expected that ZOS develop this at some point. When is the question. They may have started already, or be getting ready to start, now that console is out. They can develop ESO content a lot faster with the full studio working on it, but they might decide to leave a skeleton crew on ESO to finish up the DLC while the main force heads off on a new project. I would not rule out a Fallout Online reference at E3, but I don't expect one.

Fallout Online was cancelled years back.

I personally think Bethesda is making ES6, thats most risk-free option, especially now they've ESO.

Announcing a new Online game slightly more than a year after ESO release, and less than a week after console release? No... That'd pretty much be the same as pulling the plug on ESO.

ES6 will kill ESO. So we won't see ES6 this side of 2020.

Why didnt Witcher 3 kill ESO then? I bet they pull in the same people. People played Witcher 3 and came back, thats what is gonna happen with ES6 too. Actually this is the reason why I believe game industry needs MMOs, but that is another topic.

But we all know what a ZoS fix is, Its a half arsed bandage that within a day begins to leak out what it was ment to fix in the first place.

ESO and FA4 are separate Dev Teams.

Same with pretty much all their Games.

Had a friend that works for them....which is why i knew they were working on assets for FA4 well before ESO even came out.

    Here's my prediction:
    • Fallout 4 - HUGE promotion, crowd cheers, this game will be so awesome that humanity will be forever changed by it! Look under your seats cause you're all getting Pip-Boys!
    • Doom announcement. New Doom reboot! Promise this one won't be a boring hall-runner like the last one! Check under your seats cause you're all going home with your very own John Carmack!
    • ESO Announcement - Maybe Orsinium, Imperial City, and a lot of hype on the new console release. We'd like to put something under your seats in the future, and right now we're looking into it, but we don't have a timeframe on that to announce just yet.

    couldn't agree more !

not saying the game is bad just Zos have there priorities all wrong.

like dumping the people that have subbed for more than 1 year to go and concentrate on the console release, why why why didn't they just employ more developers on a temp basis ?
    Meh!
