You are not taking everyone into consideration here. I understand where you're coming from when you ask me that. I would just like ZoS to doing something for the less fortunate, that is all. Thanks.

They can't because then everyone that ignored the emails becomes "less fortunate", everyone comes up with a sob story and expects to get the same treatment as whomevers story ZOS picked first. In *this* ZOS is being completely fair across the board.

Didn't ZOS email everyone about this? I though I received and email. but I could be wrong. My mind is old and feeble.

Why was there a deadline for transferring anyway? THis should be a thing all the time. Other games allow you to transfer between servers at the drop of a hat.

They likely will at some point in the future for a nominal fee. I don't know what ZOS's reasons are for this, could be technical, could be whatever. But I personally think its good that they limited it and are sticking to it, for balance reasons if nothing else.

...Balance? They're allowing people with hundreds of thousands of gold and high-end craft materials to jump headlong into a server where the majority of the population will be starting from scratch? Please enlighten me on how this is "balanced."
Bummer dude. I hope ZOS reconsiders.

Edit: Curious, if you seen the countless posts and know that the guy stationed away and the guy nursing an ailing parent got told no, sorry....what does your post offer different? Or is it a hope of enough temper tantrum ZOS will change minds? (which I'm not against in certain situations) just curious, how you felt your story was different or would make more of an impact?

If they take it at face value, how many other people are going to exploit that? Sticking to their guns is the most fair thing they can do across the board.

It is a copy. If you allow people to copy characters all the time, they will duplicate valuable items.
If you move characters, deleting the character from one server (and all their gear), it makes sense to allow that on demand.

Because, this also included a digital copy of the console version of the game for $20. If this was just about the transfer, things might have been different.

I agree with you, but why is there a limitation on it at all then. The only limitation was made last year on the announcement of this offer, Why add another one? You get what I am saying here? No argument just discussion. Because you do have very fair points.
