ESO $20 Console Transfer - How long will paid transfers be held without actual console activation?

I received the E-mail offer for the $20 PC-Console transfer.

I do not own either console at this time.

If I purchase either transfer option prior to the 9 May 15 cutoff, how long will my transferred data be held?

Will it be permanently held until I decide to purchase a specific console and activate the console game?

Or will there be a maximum time-frame after Console Launch that I must activate a console account in order to retain my transferred data?

If you purchase the console transfer, your data won't expire, @SpAEkus. Your characters will be waiting for you on the console of your choice until you decide to hop in and play.

ZOS,

I never received an email for the transfer from pc to next gen. Even though I am signed up for the offer emails and I played for quite a while on pc.

Were you playing before June 2014? If not then you didn't qualify.

I'm owner of an imperial Edition since January 10 2014, didn't receive any email for console transfer....and i'm a little angry now, coz' just have an Xbox One Yesterday and was hoping playing on it, since i'm not playing on PC.
Will be an other transfer offer before launch, or do i just put my Imperial Edition to trash?

Same. I've asked many people and they don't know why. I pre-ordered and played it as soon as it came out. It sucks that is happening to you too, but I feel better knowing I'm not the only one. I would imagine its not that hard for them to send us another email or something

Re-sending to qualified owners will be great, and not so hard, i guess.
Hope they will heard those who have the same problem!!!

If some TESO techs looks around, to tell us something about that fact

hello,

account transfer you guys you sended emails to everyone when to transfer a account to ps4/xbox 1 i did not recieve any email for transferring my account to my ps4 i played this game from the first beta so where's my email to transfer my account i put alot of time in my charachters to transfer 1 to my ps4 but now i'm dissapointed in fact i dont think i'll but it for ps4 either then if i cant get a second chance to transfer my account to my ps4

Unforunately support just emailed me and said we were to late. So even though its not our fault we wont be getting the discount or transfer

I see I'm not the only one who missed some elusive window to transfer to console. I don;t understand why there was a specific window for the transfer. I own the imperial edition. I was told I'd be able to transfer it to console and now I'm not able to do that. I see a problem there.

no, you were told you would be ABLE to do it, that is all. You were NEVER Told that you were always going to be able to do it, just that at one point, you would be allowed to do it.

They are transferring A LOT of data to a system that does not work that same way as a PC, that takes time to makes sure nothing gets screwed up, AND they have to do it before the game is released or even MORE people will complain.
