Nightblade AoE build vs Single target (boss) Magic or Stamina ?

Made my first NB .had a sorc loved the AOE damage

, so just was wondering should i go full stam or mag if i want a nb that can AoE and Drop bosses , solo.
And will it be as near close AoE damage as sorc ?

Whirlwind or cleave are probably the highest aoe DPs u will get so stam build

What don't listen to the above naysayer, we have some of the best AoE sustain in the game, use either morph of path of darkness + spam sap essence while procings Siphoning Attacks for endless magicka. You can also hold block down indefinitely while doing that. You won't do as much dps as steel tornadoes but the heal you give to you and your group far outweighs the small dps loss.

i have a full stamina build wood elf NB that's bow/DW. i can't say for sure what my AOE is vs. sorcs but that NB is only v2 and in v2 ish dungeons i've seen my AOE dps anywhere between 10k and 15k at the moment. as i've heard v14 single target dps being in that range, i have a ways to go but considering im using V2 blue weapons, i'm ok with it. i go through most mobs in normal dungeons like.. a heated metal cutting device through some sort of warm diary product.

i start off in my bow bar, scorched earth->bombard->path of darkness->swith to DW bar->light attack weave into->whirlwind (whirling blades). i refresh the AOE dots as needed, of course. i also drop these AOEs on bosses as much as i can between my light weaving.

nb are awesome AOE dmg dealer.

regarding the innitial post - you do not fight bosses with an ae QB thats why people implented QB refitting addons(wykyyds etc) to switch quickly from ae to singeltarget dmg.
regarding sorcs NB have access to all the aoe abilities worth a <snip> sorcs can use too.
