Extending the ESO transfer console date

And instead of Just bashing people for trying to see if we can get a resolution please try to support the effort maybe you got in but maybe you have a friend or guildy who missed it by a short time and your help could make them able to join as well

Heck NO, I supported the console version by subbing when all the trouble was going on. Plus I fear we may lose a lot of players for PC/MAC so why cut my own throat. Also if they open it up to you guys then they have to open up the one's that have subbed from day 1 and give us a little more other than 10% gold a senche and all DLC's we can rent. I think we should have all DLC's as owned and better yet lifetime account.

But it is never going to happen so accept it.

It's not bashing.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that ZeniMax cannot legally offer the $20 promo edition or the PC-to-console copy again.

"After the 30-day period, you will no longer be able to purchase this special digital copy of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for console or copy your PC/Mac account to console in any other way."

That is not a suggestion. That is not subject to change. That is binding legal text.
Whether or not it was a good idea to limit the offer to 30 days is a completely different discussion.
But there's no discussion on whether they can offer it again. They can't.

I have subbed from day one I was a beta participant. In sorry I don't stay on top of every detail that goes on I'm just saying 1 email in the flood of emails that are sent every day for people like me that can't check our computer or devices constantly was a little lack luster and I do think the realms will get a little lonely after the sswitch but we do still deserve a chance ..... Also for posting be on the forums I've received stupid automated emails for all the achievements but they couldn't take the time for more than one short email. /golfclap

Also im pretty sure that the people who want to transfer are the ones who didn't make the cut as of the date 6/30 or something like that. Not the one who had the opportunity and missed it but the ones who never got that chance.

Here are some things to consider:

I left eso ages ago and only came back because of the transfer.
I heard about it on IGN and noticed it was everywhere so i checked my emails and went ahead with this.

1.It was everywhere from ESO live,Facebook,Twitter, youtube gamer news providers like machines and force, emailed and my favorite morning read ign news but most gaming sites provided this information.

2. It was on for a month

3. I do agree it should come back again at some point but i also want people to consider why it may not.
Ever wondered why such a small base got offered?, not only is it because of the delay and and starters but ever considered that they cannot close down the pc mega server. So they cannot afford to reduce the population too far and make it even more of a ghost town and scare off other new pc players in the future.

4. You can still buy the game for consoles the normal way and go ahead and play if you wish to with friends on consoles or just wait if you are looking to use a controller it is comming to the pc version soon.

This should put an end to this debate with any luck sorry guys and gals.

It was stated earlier many people don't use social media I watch tv I see comercials. I've seen the commercial advertised with no notice of a transfer.

I'm rather unhappy about missing the window as well. I've been a subscriber since the start, but right around Feb. 22nd, real life hit, and didn't let up until just recently. So ESO was totally off my radar. So were all other gaming news sites.

They said subscribers would be able to set up character transfers "prior to console release," well, it's still prior to console release and it would be appreciated if they opened the window back up until release.

Oh they have it, just pay the 20 or whatever it will be to transfer after console goes live. But to get for free forget it that horse is dead!

Im sorry then bud but zos did promote this everywhere and to have a tv ad just for that would cost more money than its worth.
So its as they say "life is not fair" and as i said nothing is stopping you from playing with your mates on the console and if its the controller then know its comming to the pc.

I agree i wish to see it come back but for my above reasons i highly doubt it.

It would not have costed much to add an additional bit of tested info it's the original commercial from the launch of the game it would have been as easy as adding the xbox one or ps4 logo at the bottom

Broxriggar_ESO you need to let it go bud the time has come and gone and you missed all the adverts and didn't check your email and did not log into the forums in that month.

Just let it go bud the transfer is happening in a few days I'd recommend contacting support and trying that way.
But as smurf linked further up they have no plans to let further transfers happen in the future.

It's really hard to feel sorry for ya bud

There was a 30 day date to do it. 30 days. I understand that there may have been genuine reasons (holidays and military service and the such) but it has passed. It may come back in the future.

All I can say is I want to cry right now, I have been a subscriber since the beginning and even played in all the closed betas for this game. I had never received the email about the transfer being limited to a certain time frame. As far a media, I don't have cable and I don't like Facebook or Twitter so I avoid those like a plague. I get that they cannot do any kind of discount for the game but I will pay full price, I just want to be able to transfer my character to my PS4. I have worked hard and long on my character and want to play her comfortably.

i got the game after june 30th b/c the console version was supposed to come out last year but didn't. So i had to buy it on pc b/c i really wanted to play it. Now i really want to transfer to the system i originally wanted to play on. but i have vets and former emps i don't want to get rid of.
