We are currently investigating issues some players are having logging into the European PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.

I forgot how unplayable Cyrodiil is.

I thought I would hop in and try and have some fun. I got to play for about 10 minutes before the client crashed for some reason. Restarted the game, it took 10 minutes to get through the wait screen after initial login. I select my character, and am started dead in my previous PvE location (Malabol Tor). I have the option to press E to choose my revive location, which brings me to the Cyrodiil map, only I can't revive at any location.

So I'm dead with no possibility of being revived. I don't remember signing a DNR, but apparently this is the newest "feature" in the game. Gotta love it.

Yeah it's a ghost town lately. Even if you get past the technical issues, good luck finding a decent fight.

I tried for about 10 minutes yesterday and went back to grinding CP. Better to just spend your time getting stronger for when Zenimax finally adds some real pvp to this game

@firstdecan - You really need to contact support about that issue. They can do something to help you. You might even try zone chatting in the PvE zone to see if someone can revive you there. Doubt it would work, but it's something to try while waiting for a response from customer support.

I have a decent computer and my two kids have my older computers all three of us play PvP and while we do get some lag we have never experienced crashes.

Out of curiosity, what OS does each computer have installed?

I've seen this happen to guildies before and seen dead bodies in pve zones.

Care to share specs at all?
I'm just very curious as to why some players crash and others do not. It's been determined that location is not a viable reason already.

My theory is that the patcher randomly corrupts game files with it updates them. A clean reinstall of ESO fixed all of my crashing problems (nothing else changed on the system).

But I didn't crash at all when I first started playing ESO, and the crashing got noticeably worse with every patch. Which points to something happening during the patching process.

@rajaniemiorama_ESO - What are your specs I'm interested in seeing why some people have lag and crash all the time when I have no problems with three different computers.

Everytime we are taking an important node/POI as DC either yellow or red, a zerg comes in llag out the server, we are 25+ in ts all no ts lag and 5k + server ping then once we get wiped/failed the POI capture... lag stops.

the server is simply broken codes are bads and some player abuse of it to lag it out and win!
