The point is scolding AD and telling them to stop being naughty and share isn't going to fix the problem. There's only one EP guild I can think of that made a concerted effort to balance things out and even then they still PVPed on EP side most of the time. DC still came out to secure their lead and maintain it. Again it's not that AD is so strong (something that was said about EP on Thorn too) it's that the opposing factions aren't even trying. I don't think the camps been up more than a week and already people are throwing in the towel. well of COURSE you're going to lose.

Unless the EP paid the legendary warrior FENGRUSH to fight for them. Surely the tides of battle would be turned.

We gonna keep botching (autocorrect help me avoid the censors lol) or shall we play?

Unofficial rules? (Obvious policing issues aside)
    1) if no scrolls, starting 3 keeps to remain in home teams hands.
2). Set time for small squad PvP?
    3) set destinations for duels. Hold one day during weekend for dueling only. (Personally i want to see this more)
    4) ?

This is our domain, ZOS gave up on us so let's take it back and byild up what we want to see.

All 3 factions and all main pvp guilds have to agree.

But so did a lot of us on the opposing factions. Suck it up-show some class and do what's right for the game and those whom love it. I don't really need to repeat what many have said but I will summarize: all of us who have stuck with this game have done so because we obviously love it. It is our escape after work, school, etc. To see it get ruined this way is heartbreaking. Last night my guild attempted to migrate over to another server and half of us were able to squeeze and and the other half sat in queue all night because there is already Dc jammed in there. So a good 12+ of my guys couldn't engage in pvp with their guildees and friends. Is this *really* what you want? And I KNOW my guild isn't alone. To ruin the game for so many people...really? You want to chase even more players away from pvp? Erode guilds? Is one campaign win really worth it?

There is already a ton of AD pugs on Azura. Allow DC and Ep to return and push them back a bit, gain some ground and then one perhaps two AD guilds return and the map again becomes viable, sustainable and populated again. More good fights and ap for all. Short of doing this, Azura will go the way of TB and both 30 day camps are totally one color and unplayable. Because you smart AD leaders, you know what will happen. AD pugs are going to sit on that map just like ep pugs are doing on TB. And they do what? PVE!!! We are the pvp community. All of us organized guilds represent the pvp community. We are the ONLY way to keep pvp alive and fun. Or we can kill it and hand it over to the pve'ers like we are slowly and inevitably doing.

You switched to a blue poplock campaign why? Doesn't sound like you want to come back. That's not how the situation gets better. If you want AS to get better then play on AS. It was barely the first week of the campaign and you all left. Bunch of casuals -_-

I didn't know Had was so jammed with dc. Ask Minno, I have been texting him all day about how we faced a poplock and most of our guild couldn't get in. Thats unacceptable. We don't want to over clog either. But we also don't want to be feasted on. And try as I may I can't convince any other DC to come help NPK and MBF. I didn't want to quit. I tried every work around. I just wanna have fun-win or lose. And at present state Azura is a *** storm.

AD has been trying to separate for a while now, we used to have about 2 guild that were in Chillrend and the other guilds spread our in other campaigns. But then chillrend became another lag fight server and no one wanted to play in the lag (not pointing fingers at how it was caused)

It's fairly hard to have AD guilds communicate like how EP guilds do

Do they disable /tells and in game mail on the AD side? I mean, that's all we really use most days.

It sure seems like it, my GM will try and work stuff out on what both groups should do, they come on an agreement and 5 minutes later another guild is Farming somewhere while we are the only ones playing the map.

The real problem with Chillrend was that after DC lost a cycle, they decided to take their toys and go home, and the campaign, which was otherwise healthy and enjoyable, because AD vs. EP. Of course there was lag, there was a missing faction. If they had just stayed the balance would have been fine.

AD doesn't stop, they've been doing it for a while now, back and forth between Haderus and Azuras star. People get mad at EP because they killed Thornblade, but AD has been killing these two campaigns for far longer

Both campaigns have long been the realm of the AD PvE guilds like DiG. Those people are not concerned with the health of PVP. Their only priority is the keep bonuses (buffs) for use in Trials etc.

Perhaps we should solicit ZOS to do away with buffs for trials?

They talked about it but said it would actually be more difficult to get rid of the display of the buff to match the actual removal of the buffs so they want it to stay consistent until they can do both. Thinking about it, they never really said though that they do intend to do so that I am aware of.

That's stupid. Who engineered this game?!

I was sad to see AD pushed the non-existent DC to their gates when I woke up today. I don't see the point in taking anything past Glademist when DC is completely gone. Azura's Star is a fresh campaign, and DC and EP can still come back. We seriously need the purple alliance right now to come smash AD back to their gates and give the other alliances some hope. I wouldn't have homed here if I knew it was going to be a buff campaign. Now that is is a "buff campaign", a ton of AD will flock there and try to keep it that way, which is horrible for competition. If EP and DC can get some numbers together, though, there will be plenty of unorganized players to smash and lots of AP to earn.

Personally, I'm not even going to bother playing unless I see AD down to it's home keeps. I'd suggest others who want healthy PvP in azura's do the same. Until then, I'll be doing pledges, stealing junk and making potions to finish up unlocking my useful passives for Siphons-Spirits.

Funny thing is the ad that capped everything on azuras are now guested on haderus bringing 50+ people to cap every keep, even the ones not defended at all. I don't know the exact details if it is a coincidence all showing up to the same empty keeps but I am enjoying how they aren't able to do anything when they face even numbers.

I'm part of the "AD that capped everything on azuras" and I'm not on Haderus. My guild is running a very small group there, certainly not 50 people. Doesn't this happen on Haderus every night, anyway? I thought AD rolling the map there at night was common.

Not speaking of Decibel I am pretty sure it was Misfitz, recognized quite a few of them. Haderus is full of ad who have been trying to hold it for months. I'm not sure why Misfitz decided to bring 50 ppl to keep after keep after the post that Crown made but thats 100% what i saw.

When I left AS to Blackwater Blade...

It sure wasn't AD doing the butt kicking. AD was just as good as DC when I left a week ago.

EP was owning everyone. Hetkic, Tom Hanks, them other 6 people they run with. Going zerg to zerg. Farming them cuz none of those zergs even good enough.

DC top player when I left
    40,000 points
AD top player when I left
    40,000 points
EP top player when I left
    100,000 points
    EP rank 10 player
    60,000 points

If AD is winning, its only due to capping at night.. Look at point totals, EP is doing ALLLLL the butt kicking.
And you know why they are racking up points too? Because EVERYONE is attacking them. DC is REFUSING to attack AD.
Trying to double team the good players but lack of coordination through double team leads to the good players to continue to farm you.

I remember the day before I left. My alliance, DC was at Chalman for its 10TH time trying to take it. FAIL OVER AND OVER.
AD is all the way in EP at the gates taking there scrolls. Those 8 players they don't give no hoot, they just having fun watching DC trying to take Chalman from them and DC giving those 8 EP players TONS and TONS of points.

You think AD is tough, your wrong, EP is just playing around bro.

I don't get why I'm still talking about this lol my eyes aren't playing tricks on me this time so I think I am done reassuring everyone that it did in fact happen, because this kind of stuff happens all the time. AD must start spreading around. I don´t get the logic of making guilds running 1-3 raids and flock them in the same campaign with every other guild. How about someone takes a lead and goes back to Chill or Thorn (better option imo). I am beginning to think there are guilds that are doing their best not to play with EP. Well some EP at least. I left Thorn with others but at that time Thorn was too crowded. Now that there is space and less lag 1-2 AD guilds would make a big difference.

There is zero point of trying to pvp in zergs. It isn´t even close to that big scale battle idea of ESO. The fights are over in a blink. AP is lousy.

Azura used to be a nice campaign. No point of coming to Hade from Azura.
    A is for Atronach.
    B is for Bungler's Bane.

This thread just gives me more self assurance that my decision to leave that garbage zerg guild last month when they moved to azuras was a good decision.

They couldnt handle fighting even numbers on Thorn (oh no we are so outnumbered with our three full raids all stacked on crown spamming purge) that they took that to Azuras and literally crushed it.

    gg.

Also, just to vindicate some of those EP on thorn - yeah some of you are jerks, and a few of you were definitely exploiting lag at some points, but the AD blobs in those towers with the purges were just disgusting. That yellow guild causes more lag than anything I have ever seen. I saw it first hand when 20 GoS tried to take on their three full raids all spamming their BS. To know I was a part of that... is kinda embarassing. =/

It was also quite satisfying to watch GoS crush them in an 8v8 gvg fight, in retrospect.

It wasn't them that crushed it, it was dealing with their giant laggy blob of doom while also dealing with Misfitz and Decibel at the same time. Too much, too many players, and all flowing in the same direction due to the lack of a third faction on the server.

    Utterly unfun to deal with.

But when we caught just them? Yeah, they got wrecked. Because bads.

Is it bad that I read the title as "AP, please save Azura's Star?"

HAHAHAHAHA nope. I made the thread and I keep misreading it as "Ad, please leave Azura Star" :#

In planet-side there was competition, tons in the first one. One of the best large scale shooters I can recall. If one faction was taking a lot of control the other two hopped right on fixing that. In this game when one faction is strong the other two run away to another server.

    Basically this reads..

AD, please stop logging on and let us have the map.

If you want it to be competitive, bring the competition.

I did tonight. My little group of like 8 people held Glade and wiped AD twice trying to take it.

The first time We discovered them riding north of Glade towards the mine and hit them there. We wiped them beside the keep and retook the mine.

A few minutes later they came back in massive force and started to siege from the east. We fought a long time. Maybe 12 DC total max. They breached the outer and we repelled them back. Wiped them at the breach and repaired.

Then we discovered....Rayles and Warden were also under attack. (And that's okay...good strategy) They were basically lost causes. Inner breached before anyone could get there.

So, we rallied at Glade. Epic final stand. We will repel them again, right where we held them before. Everyone ready.......and nobody came. 12 DC on the whole FREAKING SERVER and AD was only interested in taking keeps....no desire to fight against us no matter how many more of them there were.

And nobody ever came. We kept checking the map to see if there was an EP/AD fight somewhere. There wasn't. We waited...and waited....people started logging off. Eventually there was four of us. Then two. Then none. Hours spend waiting in the ONE PLACE where any blue remained...begging for a fight and we can't buy a fight.

Tell me more about what you think it means to "bring the competition".
