There's only one EP guild I can think of that made a concerted effort to balance things out and even then they still PVPed on EP side most of the time. DC still came out to secure their lead and maintain it. Again it's not that AD is so strong (something that was said about EP on Thorn too) it's that the opposing factions aren't even trying. I don't think the camps been up more than a week and already people are throwing in the towel. well of COURSE you're going to lose.
I am begging you. Don't let it rot like TB. Then it will be two 30 day campaigns that are not viable and that been abandoned due to poor faction communication and coordination. PLEASE allow competitive fights to resume in that server. The only way to accomplish this is for every AD guild, except save one, to leave. Yes, I know you're walking away from rewards. But so did a lot of us on the opposing factions. Suck it up-show some class and do what's right for the game and those whom love it. I don't really need to repeat what many have said but I will summarize: all of us who have stuck with this game have done so because we obviously love it. It is our escape after work, school, etc. To see it get ruined this way is heartbreaking. Last night my guild attempted to migrate over to another server and half of us were able to squeeze and and the other half sat in queue all night because there is already Dc jammed in there. So a good 12+ of my guys couldn't engage in pvp with their guildees and friends. Is this *really* what you want? And I KNOW my guild isn't alone. To ruin the game for so many people...really? You want to chase even more players away from pvp? Erode guilds? Is one campaign win really worth it?
There is already a ton of AD pugs on Azura. Allow DC and Ep to return and push them back a bit, gain some ground and then one perhaps two AD guilds return and the map again becomes viable, sustainable and populated again. More good fights and ap for all. Short of doing this, Azura will go the way of TB and both 30 day camps are totally one color and unplayable. Because you smart AD leaders, you know what will happen. AD pugs are going to sit on that map just like ep pugs are doing on TB. And they do what? PVE!!! We are the pvp community. All of us organized guilds represent the pvp community. We are the ONLY way to keep pvp alive and fun. Or we can kill it and hand it over to the pve'ers like we are slowly and inevitably doing.

You switched to a blue poplock campaign why? Doesn't sound like you want to come back. That's not how the situation gets better. If you want AS to get better then play on AS. It was barely the first week of the campaign and you all left. Bunch of casuals -_-

It's fairly hard to have AD guilds communicate like how EP guilds do
Do they disable /tells and in game mail on the AD side? I mean, that's all we really use most days.

Both campaigns have long been the realm of the AD PvE guilds like DiG. Those people are not concerned with the health of PVP. Their only priority is the keep bonuses (buffs) for use in Trials etc.
Perhaps we should solicit ZOS to do away with buffs for trials?
They talked about it but said it would actually be more difficult to get rid of the display of the buff to match the actual removal of the buffs so they want it to stay consistent until they can do both. Thinking about it, they never really said though that they do intend to do so that I am aware of.

Azura's Star is a fresh campaign, and DC and EP can still come back. We seriously need the purple alliance right now to come smash AD back to their gates and give the other alliances some hope. I wouldn't have homed here if I knew it was going to be a buff campaign. Now that is is a "buff campaign", a ton of AD will flock there and try to keep it that way, which is horrible for competition. If EP and DC can get some numbers together, though, there will be plenty of unorganized players to smash and lots of AP to earn.
Personally, I'm not even going to bother playing unless I see AD down to it's home keeps. I'd suggest others who want healthy PvP in azura's do the same. Until then, I'll be doing pledges, stealing junk and making potions to finish up unlocking my useful passives for Siphons-Spirits.

Not speaking of Decibel I am pretty sure it was Misfitz, recognized quite a few of them. Haderus is full of ad who have been trying to hold it for months. I'm not sure why Misfitz decided to bring 50 ppl to keep after keep after the post that Crown made but thats 100% what i saw.

I left the group an hour ago and we had 20 people after I left. At no point today did we have 50 in our group.

Well thats just not possible, i'm just stating what i saw which looked like 2 full organized groups or more, zerged down empty keeps on a guest campaign because they are done ruining azuras for the day. Also the second group had emperor in it, who so kindly 1 shot meteored me being the only source of ap in the keep. I wish i had screenshots but ill have to next time i guess

Then you are assuming people were part of Misfitz who were not. I was running with Misfitz for a while on Haderus tonight, and we never had more than 20 people.

Not in your group obviously that simply just isn't possible, but we all know groups have a habit of showing up at the same place. I don't get why I'm still talking about this lol my eyes aren't playing tricks on me this time so I think I am done reassuring everyone that it did in fact happen, because this kind of stuff happens all the time. Just the fact that it was just me in the keep full of over 50 ad I thought was a tad idiotic. But so was the part of me dying on top floor of inner from emp group who rushed to top to take out that 1 deadly oil, while misfitz stacked on flags & spammed heals for no reason at all.
This thread just gives me more self assurance that my decision to leave that garbage zerg guild last month when they moved to azuras was a good decision.
They couldnt handle fighting even numbers on Thorn (oh no we are so outnumbered with our three full raids all stacked on crown spamming purge) that they took that to Azuras and literally crushed it.
gg.
Also, just to vindicate some of those EP on thorn - yeah some of you are jerks, and a few of you were definitely exploiting lag at some points, but the AD blobs in those towers with the purges were just disgusting. That yellow guild causes more lag than anything I have ever seen. I saw it first hand when 20 GoS tried to take on their three full raids all spamming their BS. To know I was a part of that... is kinda embarassing. =/
It was also quite satisfying to watch GoS crush them in an 8v8 gvg fight, in retrospect.
this game should take some notes from Planetside 2.
Seriously.
Basically this reads..
AD, please stop logging on and let us have the map.
If you want it to be competitive, bring the competition.
